I am so grateful to @theABTA for supporting our glioblastoma research and for the invitation to attend the AARN meeting. Fantastic opportunity to connect with leading experts and to foster future collaborations. Especially appreciate the many valuable sessions for junior faculty
Thanks to @MDPI for the invitation to contribute to this special issue on Stem Cells in Cancer. Our half-year graduate student @ Laurence Haddadin and I have put together an in-depth review on the role of stem cells in cancer, with a particular focus on cancer stem cells (CSCs).
Thanks to the editors and reviewers for their constructive comments and valuable suggestions, which have helped improve the manuscript. Read more at the link below. mdpi.com/2073-4409/14/7/538

Exciting news!
I'll be starting a lab @sbpdiscovery in San Diego, California at the end of the year.
If you're interested in working on multidisciplinary science exploring the interplay between the microenvironment and cellular metabolism in cancer and aging, please contact me.
I am hiring multiple Postdoctoral Associates for my new lab at Sanford Burnham Prebys. We use a multidisciplinary approach (multi-omics, machine learning, long-lived species) to push the boundaries of aging research. Please see more details and apply here: sbpdiscovery.hrmdirect.com/e…
Here's an update on Aging Biology journal. We are making progress! Check out the website and publications to date agingcelljournal.org Please submit your work (contact EICs direct), publicize and re-Tweet.
Earn your PhD at Sanford Burnham Prebys. Virtual Open House next month. Learn more about my lab - epigenetics of cancer and aging - and many others. Having done biomedical research in London, Boston, Philadelphia and Glasgow - San Diego is the best!! lnkd.in/gg68-vyE

Excited to share our new work on direct protein-based genome editing in primary cells. We termed it Peptide-Assisted Genome Editing (PAGE) CRISPR-Cas platform. This platform allows rapid and effective editing of primary cells with minimal toxicity. go.nature.com/3LB007T
Fantastic experience at AACR! So much fascinating science. Great meeting with so many old and new friends. Thanks to @AACR for making it so convenient for parents by providing 12 hours free day care service. A lot of traffic, but good time to stop by my poster now 📢📢📢
So honored to join a list of young scientists and established PI @Lingbo_Zhang to accept support from Evans-MDS funding, cannot wait to meet with them in person to discuss science.
How many digits of Pi can you recite? If you’re Mary Lou De Jesus, that figure is 900. Mary Lou was tops in this year’s Pi recitation contest at Einstein, shattering the previous record. Watch Mary Lou’s winning entry, at our observance of #PiDay and Albert Einstein’s birthday.
