Welcoming males into female spaces and sports excludes women and girls. It is not inclusive and progressive. It is oppressive, harmful and sometimes dangerous sex discrimination.

A question for those MSs from @Plaid_Cymru and the @WalesGreenParty who signed the recent statement that there are ‘shortcomings’ with the Supreme Court judgment. Should this man 👇have access to women’s single sex spaces in Wales? barryanddistrictnews.co.uk/n…
Nurses were subjected to this horror and made to watch this man masturbate. And the state of this report 👇- as the @barrydistrict news refer to this man as a ‘woman’ and utter the ridiculously offensive words ‘her penis’. 🤡 barryanddistrictnews.co.uk/n…

In all fairness to @barrydistrict and their reporter, they are quoting directly from the prosecutor in this case. And when they refer to his past offending, they ping pong between pronouns. But it begs the question- was this recorded as a man’s crime? And did he go to a man’s prison?

Spoilt my vote but with @natasghar on this.
Women and girls deserve safe, single-sex spaces. @natasghar has tabled a Senedd motion calling for those protections to be upheld. Not one Plaid Cymru, Labour, Lib Dem or Green MS has signed it.

"As Pope Leo has said, humanity, in all its grandeur and woundedness, must never be replaced or surpassed." Opening the AI debate in the Lords, the Archbishop of Canterbury (@ArchbishopSarah) says AI must be designed, built, regulated and used to serve humanity, not diminish it.
As AI companies race to develop superintelligent AI, which their own CEOs warn could lead to human extinction, policymakers are waking up to the threat. Last week, there were two debates in the House of Lords on AI. Highlights from some of our 100 UK campaign supporters:

Gwent Police still allows trans officers to use women's facilities — policy dated June 2025, post Supreme Court ruling. @WRNWales has issued a letter before action. @SexMattersOrg are in court tomorrow on strip-searching. Time for a spotlight on Wales. x.com/SexMattersOrg/status/2…

Female police officers should never be expected to search men who say they are women. We’re in court on 16th June, standing up for officers whose forces think unlawful searches can be allowed “by consent”. Will you support our legal challenge? sex-matters.org/take-action/…

It beggars belief that we’re back here again despite all the evidence. If we care about vulnerable people and if we care about being evidence led, we will reject this outright at 2nd reading, put an end to this nonsense and fix palliative care instead.
Lauren Edwards MP statement says “[The TIA bill] was rightly described as the safest and most robust assisted dying law anywhere in the world” No. It was only described this way by the people trying to push it through. Here is how others described the Bill: 1. The Royal College of Physicians said the Bill is unsafe 2. The Royal College of Psychiatrists said the Bill is unworkable, and unsafe 3. The British Geriatrics Society said the Bill’s safeguards are not adequate 4. Domestic abuse charities said the Bill is unsafe 5. Organisations representing disabled people said the Bill is unsafe 6. Royal College of GPs says the Bill lacks adequate safeguards 7. Lord Stevens, ex NHS CEO, said legislating for assisted dying in the current climate of hospice cuts is “utterly ridiculous” 8. MIND says the safeguards are not adequate 9. The CLADD group at KCL (DOI) have said the Bill is “not fit for purpose” 10. The British Association of Social Workers say the Bill’s is not safe enough Spot the pattern?

Let’s speak plainly. Binding and ‘top surgery’ are forms of *self-harm*. Lush and others have convinced themselves it’s kind and progressive to affirm self-hatred and body dysmorphia brought on by deeply internalised regressive stereotypes.
Lush UK. Promoted by Chelmsford City Council.

It’s been like a kind of national hypnosis, with no interrogation from the press at all until now. How did governments think this acceptable, and journalists treat it as routine, while transactivists claimed of over-funded women’s rights groups?
£3.9m to Scottish Trans to campaign against women's spaces. The SNP worked hand in glove with taxpayer-funded trans lobbyists to undermine women's rights. Could this be happening in Wales? (Yes.)

Will our First Minister @RhunapIorwerth have the minerals in leadership to unequivocally condemn this criminal act on the offices of the equality regulator for Wales @EHRCwales? I hope so, and that he isn’t afraid of the extremists in his party.
Gosh who’d have thought this 👇would happen? In the same week that some Welsh MSs fell over themselves to spread misinformation and fuelled a fantasy notion of injustice regarding the EHRC Code. Let’s have some integrity and responsibility in Welsh politics. Is that too much to ask @WelshGovernment? 1/2

Women enduring hell on earth because of their sex and the very worst of male violence.
In Herat, women are being taken from the streets because of how they are dressed, families are searching for daughters who vanished into vans and protesters demanding their return have been met with bullets. Read more: independent.co.uk/voices/tal…

Feminine males, masculine females, and androgynous people can all be *fully included* with no fictions or lies, no unfairness to women, no forced pretending about the immutability of sex, no voodoo cosmetic medicine, no permanent damage to healthy young bodies. This is a self harm cult masquerading as a human rights cause. It's Emperor's New Clothes on literal steroids. @TomSteyer @GavinNewsom @GovPressOffice

I am a life long Democrat, CASA for foster youth & officer of the court in CA. I know about development and mental health and was a SAHM to three kids. I marinated in SF Gay culture as an East Bay teen with a very close gay male friend. "Trans Kids" is a medical fraud & disinformation campaign, and well meaning Democrats are its marks. It is an anti-reality, authoritarian ideology. To accommodate it, even conceptually, does harm. It’s not ‘anti-hijab’ - they were wearing the hijab correctly and still arrested. The point of the protests is that the Taliban’s chokehold on women (despite adhering to their rules) is unbearable. They don’t want women to exist in the public sphere. That’s why they protest.
The Taliban are hunting down women who took part in rare anti-hijab protests in Afghanistan, The Telegraph can reveal. Read more about the methods they're employing ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

What’s happening to vulnerable young adults is going to be just as big a scandal as the youth gender clinics.
Whilst there is a focus on the activities of gender clinics, could I recommend taking an interest in the activities of the adult Welsh Gender Service? An independent investigation was ordered in July 2024. It hasn't started yet. genderblog.net/welsh-gender-…
