If you’ve ever taken an Uber in Boston @Uber or any other place, you most likely breathed formaldehyde. VOCs and secondary pollutants: Common emissions include terpenes like limonene and linalool (listed in Little Trees’ Black Ice ingredients), along with others like aldehydes. These can react with ozone or other air components to form formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and other irritants or potential carcinogens. I believe @Uber could offer toxin-free vehicles or educate their drivers on healthier air freshener alternatives. Unfortunately, they have not done so. One driver once told me that passengers had reported her car for a bad smell. She was unaware that the issue came from the overwhelming number of Little Trees air fresheners and similar canisters all over her vehicle—and she kept buying more.

@bostonpolice , Could you please maintain a police presence on Winter Street or at the intersection of Winter Stree and Washington Street? Last night, I witnessed one of the worst cases of harassment I have ever seen in Boston directed at tourists. A man was following couples — mainly tourists — while yelling at the men, “You are not king. You should walk her on the inside. You’re not king. I am a hero, you are not king.” I now believe he was deliberately trying to provoke a reaction so he could post it on social media. He was a very skinny young man (approximately 18–25 years old) with afro-style hair, dark skin, and average to short height. He was wearing polished black sneakers/tennis shoes, a black T-shirt, and jeans. He was accompanied/followed by another man. I could not find any police officers at that intersection. I didn’t have my phone with me, so I was unable to call or record the incident, which I deeply regret. He continued harassing nice couples, especially following an elegantly dressed European couple (both tall, with the woman having long blonde hair and wearing a mini skirt), and trying to provoke them for quite a while. This occurred around 9:15–9:25 p.m. All the officers appeared to be stationed in motorcade at the entrance to Park Street Station, but there was no visible police presence on Winter Street or at the Washington Street intersection — an area that usually has officers and is a major pedestrian crossing that warrants regular coverage. In my opinion, this man will likely continue this behavior. It was disgusting, deliberately looking for a fight or conflict, and it was humiliating and embarrassing to watch. This is the kind of thing people usually only see in clickbait videos online, but I never expected to witness such provocative behavior in person. This is not how Boston treats our guests. High school sophomore Eliot Abramson was struck in the back of the neck by a ball while playing lacrosse on June 1, 2026. A firefighter at the scene kept his heart beating until he could be taken to a hospital. From the statements in the media reports, it appears that this unfortunate young man went on to become an organ donor under the controlled donation after circulatory death (DCD) protocol. If this was the case, here’s how the DCD protocol works: 1. He signed up at the DMV with absolutely no informed consent process to become an organ donor. 2. He sustained a critical injury. 3. His heart was beating, and he apparently did not meet criteria for brain death. But his prognosis for recovery was poor. 4. His family decided to withdraw his medical support. But because he had registered as an organ donor, his support was mandated to be removed in such a way as to allow organ procurement. 5. He was given a do not resuscitate (DNR) order, because while he could have been resuscitated, a decision had been made not to do so. 6. His ventilator was withdrawn, and the stopwatches started ticking: hypoxia is very detrimental to organ viability. He needed to become pulseless fairly quickly so his organs would be viable for donation.  7. Once pulselessness was achieved, doctors observe a 2-5 minute stand-off period to be sure there is no spontaneous return of circulation before beginning organ procurement as quickly as possible. The problem with the DCD protocol is that people are routinely able to be resuscitated after just 2-5 minutes of pulselessness, and if you could still be resuscitated, you are not dead.  This is why there have been cases of DCD donors who have resumed heartbeat and breathing during the removal of their organs. The New York Times reported on multiple instances of problems with recovery during the DCD process in an article last year. A 2-5 minute stand-off period is far too short to be sure death has occurred because people have been documented to have auto-resuscitated and made a full recovery after 10 minutes of pulselessness. But waiting for more than 10 minutes is too hard on organ viability.  The DCD protocol is a concealed form of physician-assisted death for the sake of viable organs.

Il finit par parvenir à lui dérober son collier avant de prendre la fuite en courant. Cette dame, qui assiste à la messe chaque soir, présente un hématome au cou et s’est retrouvée en état de choc. Elle s’est rendue à la sacristie, où l’abbé et la sacristaine ont immédiatement contacté la police. Elle a tout de même assisté à la messe avant de déposer plainte ce mardi matin. Le curé nous a confirmé ces informations. Plusieurs paroissiens, ainsi que le curé nous ont également expliqué que les vols se multiplient aux abords de l’église. Il s’agirait principalement de vols à l’arraché visant des personnes âgées, notamment pour dérober des chaînes ou des médailles de baptême. Outrage in Italy as an Albanian man was almost beheaded by a North African gang for defending an elderly man during a robbery.
