Last night, we celebrated a proud milestone for Indigenous entrepreneurship in Ottawa, the graduation of the 2024 Wejibàbandan Indigenous Business Incubator cohort! Congratulations to these inspiring entrepreneurs: 🌟 Amanda Fox of Pow Wow FitNish, combining fitness and culture to promote health and wellness. 🌟 Kaylee Smoke of Enska showcasing Indigenous artistry through hair, beauty and barbering. 🌟 Denyse Nadon of Tribalure, building connections through cosmetics and skin care. This program, powered by the ADAAWE HUB and NACCA, is a testament to what happens when hard work, determination, and community come together. Over the past three months, these entrepreneurs have built sustainable, scalable businesses that will contribute to their communities and the Canadian economy. As someone deeply committed to empowering entrepreneurship and economic opportunity, I couldn’t be prouder to support them on their journey.
