For over a decade, the National Transportation Safety Board has recommended BAC limits of 0.05 or lower. Member Tom Chapman testified in support of HB 308 to reduce Alaska’s DUI limit from 0.08 to 0.04. This is the standard. Globally, 84% of countries are at 0.05 or lower. #akleg

Would be great if our society treated driving safety violations as serious as the general narrative around fare evasion.
And I’m not saying fare evasion isn’t a problem, it is; but dangerous driving is killing & injuring people daily and it needs to be taken more seriously.

I looked up the license plate and this car has 70 school zone speeding violations in the past 6 months, including a single day with four tickets!
it’s absolutely absurd that this driver is allowed to stay on our roads
