👇But putting five Republican gubernatorial primary candidates on a debate stage is too much...

I get that Florida Republican voters are frustrated with the Donalds - no debate situation. I also understand politicians taking shots at each other in a campaign - but there's no reason for Republican voters seeking information to be ugly to each other. Same team.

Desantis should organize and moderate the Florida Republican gubernatorial primary debate. That would be must-see TV!

There is absolutely nothing suspicious about @ByronDonalds being on an AI subcommittee as his "broker" trades very conveniently timed AI stock. Trust him bro. Think I prefer a man of service like @JayCollinsFL but that's just me. @Collinslayla @CollinsWarRoom

How about you sign a contract under penalty of perjury and answer what we have all been asking you? Was the girl from the high school debate club you allegedly had sex with 16 or 17? Are you a pedophile? @j_fishback
I just signed a legally binding contract under penalty of perjury. The terms are simple: if I break any one of my promises as Florida Governor, I cannot run for re-election. Politicians in both parties have lied to us. That ends with me.

Is it odd that the FL media and Dirt Sheets like @FLVoiceNews @Fla_Pol totally missed, or even IGNORED the fact that yesterday’s “poll” that was heavily touted by the Donalds campaign was conducted by a Donalds MEGADONOR who threw $800K at him on 5/31? Seems sort of newsworthy.

Approximately 4 months ago, Evan Power said: “Primaries are up to our Republican voters. We are not involved until we support all our nominees.” That didn’t age well. @FloridaGOP has endorsed candidates in Republican primaries, refused to allow statewide candidates to debate, and put the thumb on the scale for establishment favorites. The Sunshine Showdown has become a disaster for Florida Republicans. Grassroots voters are being sidelined today, but come November they’ll be asked to fall in line and provide support. @EvanPower, @ViceChairTeague , and @Billhelmich own this mess.

THE PRIMARY IS A SCAM When the FL GOP uses a “poll” conducted by a Byron Donalds MEGADONOR as debate criteria to exclude candidates, the game is rigged. AIF donated $800K to Byron on May 31. Their poll was part of the “criteria.”
Incredible. The Florida GOP’s "objective criteria" relies on a poll from the Associated Industries of Florida (AIF). Just one small detail: AIF endorsed Byron Donalds back in January and are donors. They aren't even hiding the coordination anymore. @JayCollinsFL @CollinsWarRoom

Governor DeSantis understands that politicians work for the people and have to earn their support. Floridians deserve the chance to vet candidates, hear them debate the issues, and make up their own minds about who should lead our state.

NEW: Ron DeSantis comes out swinging at @FloridaGOP over lack of debate in gubernatorial election: “They said they were going to do a debate. They didn’t put out the criteria publicly. I don’t think the RPOF ever voted on any type of criteria.” “I’ve heard secondhand what the criteria was. I wouldn’t have qualified when I ran in ’18 for what they were trying to do.” “And so, it’s counterproductive when you try to engineer an outcome, because you need a coalition of voters to do well.”

Governor @RonDeSantis, Floridians would love to hear five words from you: "Florida Republicans deserve a debate". I don't know if you'll ever endorse anyone, but if you called for a debate, it would certainly add pressure for there to be one. As America celebrates the 250th anniversary we should reject the idea of a coronation. The Founders never believed in a coronation. We shouldn't either! 🇺🇸

This has the worst optics in the world for the Florida GOP. The RPOF hasnt even released the exact numeric fundraising thresholds or polling and organizational ones for the 2026 debates. All they have announced is “specific thresholds” for “viable contenders” but keep the numbers opaque.
The Florida Republican Party has barred James Fishback and other candidates from the GOP primary debates, stating that only Byron Donalds has met the qualification requirements to participate. The Florida GOP set strict debate qualification thresholds polling, fundraising, and organizational benchmarks designed to limit the stage to “viable” contenders. This is virtually unprecedented.

The funniest (and dumbest) theory in Florida politics is that @RonDeSantis spent seven years so far building a governing model, fought every major battle imaginable, put constitutional amendments on the ballot, appointed a Lieutenant Governor who would go on to run for governor, and then suddenly became indifferent to who takes it over when he's gone. The only people who believe are the same people who’ve misread everything from the start. Nobody with any emotional IQ actually believes that, but just watch my comments section for the dummies that do 🤣
100%. And it would be completely out of character! He entered the process months ago when he ruled out support for Renner or Donalds. The result of this election is not only important to him, it’s personal. He’s not gonna sit idly by and watch Donalds or Jolly take over the

Questions: 1 - Why does FPL need to pay to run six TV ads during a single baseball telecast to say, "we're working hard for you"? 2 - How much money are those TV ads costing FL residents in their FPL bills?
