Although I think conservative voices have values in transit governance, that stupid MAGA hat is also a symbol of divisiveness that led to dysfunction w/ constant battles between the hard right & hard left.
Do @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk realize the emotionally crushing impact their #DarkMAGA hat has on members of the @SFBART Board of Directors, a freshman member of Congress, and her key staff member? One said, "Jesus Christ", and two of them held hands. sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti…

Yes, I’m disappointed in Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, & SCOTUS. But mostly I’m disappointed in the 76 million Americans who said “no big deal” and voted for a candidate who, just 4yrs ago, lost an election, refused to concede, and then actually committed crimes trying to overthrow that election. The fact that 76 million Americans didn’t find THAT disqualifying will always be my biggest disappointment.

She screwed over herself, the Dem coalition, and Gazans for a smug pyrrhic victory. Meanwhile, Kamala is playing Connect Four because these narcissistic nihilists couldn't connect the dots. What a see you next Tuesday. Hope it works out for her.

Joe Biden won 69% of the Arab American vote in Dearborn in 2020…This year Trump got 42% and Stein got 18% and now those voters are angry at Trumps Cabinet picks…did they seriously think Trump was going to give them a seat at the table? All they did was give Trump the green light to allow Netanyahu to finish the genocide….we tried to warn them what would happen…their protest vote may have just ended the Palestinians and that is a freaking tragedy…you get one vote, one chance to do the right thing and instead you give the keys to the one man who doesn’t care about the Palestinians… I mean Trump unalived one million Americans…how could you not see this and how on earth can you now be mad? That is rich.

Trump broke the glass ceiling for a convicted felon to be president, it has never been done before - this is certainly historic

So, we’re replacing a former four-star general as Defense Secretary with… the weekend co-host of Fox and Friends? Unbelievable. Just... wow.

It's commonly said that Biden's approvals dropped bc of the AFG pullout fiasco on Aug 15, 2021. But his approvals started seriously dropping around July 28. AFG trouble was in the news but not front and center yet. Something else got a LOT more attention: CDC's new mask guidance.

Biden's approval has been underwater since the botched Afghan withdrawal. The irony is that Dem over performance in 2022 midterms (due to Dobbs & strong party infrastructure) was credited to Biden (at least by White House) which foreclosed opportunity for him to not run again. A catastrophic failure of judgement.

🍊💩 is not particularly ideological & too lazy. None of those would help him personally so I doubt anything much would happen domestically. I'm concerned about foreign issues like Ukraine & Taiwan, but mainline GOP is same as Dems on those issues so there would be push backs.
Biden made banks stop surprising you with hidden charges. That's gone now. $35 insulin is gone. Medicare negotiating drug prices--gone. EPA, HHS, Dept of Energy--gone. All consumer protections--gone. Dept of Labor. National Hurricane Center. NOAA. National Parks. 1/6

Because we know 🍊💩 is old, stupid, & lazy. He can't run anymore & doesn't have to do favors for others. Many on the right will hate parts of his agenda & will put a stop to it. Those behind the scenes (Elon, Vance) will become a "gang of 4" like Mao b4 his death.

It is hard to own the libs when liberals aren’t going to give a shit about a lame duck Trump term.

I think Kamala was put in a very tough spot by Biden twice when 1st time letting her be a "border czar" & then replace Biden as nominee at the last moment. Both were really shitty positions w/ a lot of constraints & factors she couldn't control, but had to support admin anyway.

We need a radical change in urban governance. The Democrats are, quite rightly, losing the confidence of urban voters. Homelessness and housing costs are pushing voters into the arms of the GOP. And local/ state democrats failed policies are to blame.
Big swings in surprising places can tell us a bit about underlying realignments. With more than 92% of the vote in for New York County (Manhattan), Trump is on pace to improve on his 2020 results by 9 percentage points.

In history there are some US presidents with extremely short terms. I think if enough ppl in Washington are sick of 🍊💩, some deals could be made to remove him, since he can never run again & he's in mental decline. Vance may be evil but can't inherit his cult of personality.
I don't think he'll (Trump) be given the option. I'm sure Vance will find a way to remove him due to ill-health/lack of mental capacity. It might take him a while.

Misogyny and racism. And, Kamala, encapsulated both. Too much for too many bigots to overcome. Throw in fuck the Dems, from various camps for various reasons. Who chose to sit this one out, and there you have it. A perfect toxic environment to let the orange turd in.

In a weird way, we have a Kamala Harris-Donald Trump election because Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell made the opposite choice. Pelosi chose to shiv Biden, her friend, to save the party. McConnell voted to acquit Trump, whom he loathes, to hold onto power.

It bc these voters are willing to take a leap of faith on a relatively fresh candidate than a stale one. Same cause that benefitted 🍊💩 in 2016.
Kamala Harris's campaign has claimed she's winning late-deciders by double-digits. The NYT-Siena poll finds the same. Other evidence suggests that's indeed plausible -->
