Our new paper is out in Genes & Development! We found that a small domain in PRC2 — the SBD — isn't just structural scaffolding. It's a mechanical switch that powers the whole complex. Remove it, and cancers driven by EZH2 mutations stop growing. 🧵

This work started during my PhD in Dave Allis's lab at Rockefeller. Dave was a visionary who redefined chromatin biology and a mentor who transformed the lives of everyone around him. He passed away in 2023. This paper is part of his enduring legacy.
