Such horseshit. Only when they started painting the trains (when TfL and the GLA were created in 2000 - previously they were plain metal) did they make a real effort to stop graffiti. Before then graffiti like this had been the norm since 70s: youtube.com/watch?v=xdEG0BBp…
An entire train like this on the Bakerloo line just now. @MayorofLondon Sadiq Khan's @TfL. London's decline in one image.

I thought London was dead on a Saturday night? Make your mind up
Saturday evening on the District Line tube from Chiswick to Stepney Green. Nine million stops and it is rammed. And I mean rammed. More rammed than a thing that’s very rammed.

This is a video of Soho. Which had some of the most dreadful (white) gang violence in the 1950s, which isn't present today.

This is indeed a really intersting piece of work by @BestForBritain We all know that closer links would help the economy. What is really interesting is the idea that they could help shelter both sides from the impacts of US tarrifs. thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

Against all my better judgement I went into a Costa today. There were at least three of these signs displayed. I feel like this is a huge indicator of where we're at as a country. A bloody coffee shop has a sign about abusive customers? I appreciate I sound very old but wtf?

We can make ourselves feel better that this is why the Dems lost. Musk definitely set out to do this. And it likely helped. But everyone needs to admit that living standards are crap for too many people in 'rich' Western countries. And progressives have presided over this.

This might not be 100% correct but my grandmother explained to me that sea defences in North Norfolk don't go past Happisburgh because there was concern in the 90s about bats. But now Happisburgh is falling into the sea. There will eventually be no home for 1440 people, or bats.
