Nuclear power could be as cheap as coal, and vastly safer and better for the climate. But it is eye-wateringly expensive because we have regulated it badly.

THEY DID IT!!! Washington @MomsDemand and @StudentsDemand volunteers just helped pass HB 1240, which prohibits the sale and manufacture of assault-style rifles, including semiautomatic rifles with detachable magazines.
The bill is now headed to @GovInslee for his signature. 💪

76 year old VA patient with acute changes in cognition and difficulty walking. Needed a wheelchair to get to and from the car. Had almost no affect and couldn't answer questions.
Over the last three weeks these are the medications we REMOVED. Today, he looked like a new man.

As doctors we see a snap shot of patients' lives. We make assumptions & plans that we expect patients to follow.
As a teacher, I saw the reality of families' lives. I realised how unrealistic some of our requests are.
Ask yourself, is this plan really achievable?
