It’s been just 10 days since
@adtao_ppcrebel (SN21) went live on Bittensor mainnet and the team is already shipping real results.
On May 19th, AdTAO activated its incentive mechanism: a decentralized prediction network built for Google Ads optimization. Miners compete to forecast counterfactual outcomes, basically predicting what happens when specific changes are made across search campaigns running on thousands of real ad accounts.
If you are not seeing the bigger picture yet, they are working on one of the hardest problems in a $300B market: separating real incremental impact from noise, correlation, and platform-driven incentives.
Last week they completed their first mainnet epoch (W21), and the results were quite strong:
▫️16 miners successfully submitted and got scored
▫️3 miners hit Elite tier (top 20%) earning 60% of emissions
▫️Everything is verifiable on-chain, with a public leaderboard:
adtao.io/sn21/leaderboard/
▫️100% of the qualifying pool beat the “predict-zero” baseline
It wasn’t perfect, and they’ve been open about that. There were registration issues, validator weighting challenges, and a few miners missed out early on. Instead of ignoring it, the team put out a full recap with fixes already in motion: better error messaging, tighter validator coordination (with Tensora support), and a follow-up BID_STRATEGY epoch next week so participants can resubmit and get properly rewarded.
What stands out is how quickly they’ve responded in just week one. The team has been building in this space for 15 years, bringing a large proprietary dataset (20k accounts, 1.3B records) and real commercial traction into Bittensor.
AdTAO isn’t just live. It’s being built in public, refining incentives as it goes, and showing what a serious, execution-focused subnet looks like from day one.
Respect to
@adtao_ppcrebel and the PPCRebel team for the execution. Looking forward to more updates in the coming weeks.
