“They left a legacy of preserving minority wealth, failing to transform the economy, and increasing inequality & poverty.” This will be the epitaph of the ANC.
Pravin Gordhan & Tito Mboweni failed ordinary South Africans. They left a legacy of preserving minority wealth, failing to transform the economy, and increasing inequality & poverty. Tito Mboweni gaslit people on Twitter. Pravin Gordhan destroyed SOEs. Animal Farm.

The government of Lebanon just filed a formal complaint with the United Nations because Israel sprayed tens of thousands of pounds of poisonous cancer causing chemicals all over Lebanese farm lands. If you still think this has ANYTHING to do with Hezbollah you're stupid.
🚨 BREAKING: Lebanon files UN Security Council complaint accusing I$rael of violating the Chemical Weapons Convention in the south Lab tests from Aita al-Shaab, Naqoura, and Dhaira confirmed catastrophic levels of Glyphosate—a cancer-linked chemical—in agricultural soil. Normal farming levels would show 0.5 to 2 mcg/g but tests on soil in South Lebanon show 22,750 mcg/g, 11,000 times above safe levels It has been labeled by some as a deliberate war crime designed to permanently destroy arable border lands. Here is our report from the scene filmed in February

MAJOR BREAKING: Trump's full Iran deal LEAKS out of Saudi Arabia — and it's a thousand times worse than even his harshest critics predicted. This is a historic surrender by Trump and Vance. #6 is a real doozy... According to Al Arabiya, a state-owned news channel out of Saudi Arabia, the agreement between the White House and Tehran is a 14-point "Memorandum of Understanding." Here are those points in summary: 1) Iran, the United States, and their allies declare upon signing that there will be "an immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon." They vow not to "launch any hostile attack against each other" and will "will refrain from the threat or use of force against each other." That means no more Truth Social threats from Trump ranting that a "whole civilization will die tonight." 2) The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States undertake to respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to refrain from interfering in each other's internal affairs. 3) The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States undertake to negotiate and reach a final agreement within a maximum period of 60 days, extendable by mutual consent. 4) The U.S. will lift its naval blockade and "prevent any interference or obstruction against" Iran. Traffic through the region will be restored within 30 days to "full capacity" and "pre-war volume of traffic on the part of the Islamic Republic of Iran." The U.S. agrees to withdraw its military forces from the surrounding region within 30 days of the final agreement (which still has to be written and ratified). 5) Iran agrees to immediately "take steps" to ensure that the movement of merchant ships from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman and vice versa is resumed within 30 days to the pre-war volume, taking into account the need for the removal of technical obstacles and the neutralization of mines by Iran. 6) The U.S. and its allies will create a "comprehensive plan" for the "rehabilitation and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran." It must amount to AT LEAST $300 billion. The full design of the program will be written into the final agreement. In other words: Trump wasted billions of your tax dollars to blow up Iran and now he's spending billions more to rebuild it. 7) The U.S. agrees to end "all types of sanctions" on Iran, including those implemented by the U.N. Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency, as well as all "unilateral U.S. sanctions, both primary and secondary." This is an absolutely MASSIVE concession. Sanctions have long been the primary tool of imperial oppression wielded by the U.S. against Iran. While ostensibly designed to weaken the Ayatollah and the theocratic mullahs, in practice the sanctions have done nothing but inflict pointless suffering and misery on the Iranian people. Iranian elites exist in a pampered bubble much like the elites do in the United States. It's the normal people who suffer under sanctions because they're denied access to food, medicine, technology, and other imports. Because those supplies are restricted, prices inflate, choking the middle and lower classes. With the removal of these sanctions, the Iranian people have a chance to enter into a new era of economic blossoming. In his genocidal, nihilistic quest to weaken and destroy Iran on behalf of Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump may have accidentally Made Iran Great Again. 8) The Islamic Republic of Iran reiterates that it will never produce nuclear weapons. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States have agreed that the fate of enriched material and the fate of all other mutually agreed nuclear-related issues, including Iran’s nuclear needs, will be adequately addressed in a final agreement; the final agreement will confirm the provisions of this Article. While Trump will try to claim point 8 as some big victory, the use of the word "reiterates" here is crucial. Iran was never pursuing nuclear weapons in the first place. The White House and Israel lied about Iran's intentions as a pretext to start this war. Tellingly, Iran has not agreed to surrender its enriched uranium in this memo. 9) The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States agree that, pending a final agreement, they will maintain the status quo: Iran will maintain the status quo on its nuclear program, and the United States will not impose new sanctions on Iran or strengthen its forces in the region. To put it more succinctly: Trump accomplished nothing. 10) The U.S. agrees to "immediately" issue waivers for exports of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, and all related services, including banking, insurance, transportation, and the like. Those waivers will no longer be required once the sanctions are lifted in full. 11) The U.S. agrees to release "frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran" so long as negotiations progress towards a "final agreement." Those funds will "fully available for use" by Iran. 12) The U.S. and Iran agree that "an implementation mechanism will be established to oversee the successful implementation of and future commitment to the Final Agreement." The final agreement will be approved through a binding resolution of the UN Security Council. Let us be very clear about what this deal memo represents: a complete, and total surrender by the United States of America to the Islamic Republic of Iran. It constitutes the greatest military defeat in American history. It's also a cause for celebration. The deal is good for Iran, but more importantly it's good for the world. This conflict accomplished nothing beyond aiding Israeli's territorial expansion into Lebanon. Innocent people were slaughtered and Americans were forced to pay the price in the form of skyrocketing groceries and gas. It would have been far better if Trump had never started this war. But since he did, it's a blessing that it's finally (possibly) coming to an end. Please ❤️ and share if you think that Obama got a better deal!

BREAKING: The View's Sunny Hostin shreds the racist UFC smear of Michelle Obama in a scathing takedown. She nailed exactly how we’re feeling… “I do want to address the derogatory slur made about the former First Lady Michelle Obama,” Hostin said on the show. “Because I think it's important to address and we won't dignify what was said by repeating it. Yeah, but you should look it up.” Over the weekend, Trump hosted a drunken mob of MAGA fanatics and MMA fighters on the White House lawn. One of the fighters, Josh Hokit, brought the disgraceful proceedings crashing to absolute rock bottom when he shouted “Michelle Obama is a man” into the microphone. “And I think the reason that it's important is because for a long time and the roots are in slavery,” continued Hostin. “Black women have been slurred and made to feel that they were unattractive, made to feel that they were masculine, made to feel that they didn't have the femininity that a white woman would have.” This is the key point. Calling Black women “men” has long been a favored insult of white supremacists. Their aim is to degrade and humiliate women of color while asserting that only white women can truly be “women.” It’s a line of attack ripped straight out of a Klan brochure. Note that this particular defamation is reserved for Mrs. Obama. Republicans despise Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Jill Biden but you’ll never see them attacking their femininity. That indignity is hurled solely at Black women. “And so there's this intersectionality between racism and sexism that was on full display at the White House,” explained Hostin. “The crowd laughed at the statement and the President of the United States smirked and never addressed what was said. That is beneath the dignity of the office of the President of the United States and it's beneath the dignity of the American people.” While we agree in principle, unfortunately nothing is “beneath the office of the presidency” while Donald Trump remains in the Oval Office. He’s a racist, rapist, pedophile. As long as he’s in power, America will continue scraping the bottom of the barrel. Please ❤️ and share if you stand with the Obamas!

A policy that promises to lift people up has done the exact opposite. Millions of ordinary black South Africans are trapped in deep poverty. The official unemployment rate sits at a devastating 32.7%, with youth unemployment passing 60%. Instead of broad economic growth, B-BBEE became a tool for Blatant Elite Enrichment. It leaves the masses behind while rewarding a tiny circle of politically connected insiders. B-BBEE is not progressive, it is extortive. It forces businesses to score points on a government metric rather than focusing on quality and innovation. It acts as a massive tax on productivity. When companies must hire based on compliance instead of raw merit, systems break down. True empowerment comes from building skills, not from manipulation. No serious investor wants to build a business where the government dictates ownership by force. Investors want safety, predictability, and efficiency. When the rules force companies to subsidise political patronage networks, investors simply take their money elsewhere. This leaves the economy with low production, fewer factories, and fewer jobs. A country cannot thrive when political looters use state tenders as a personal bank account. When the rulebook prioritises political loyalty over competence, infrastructure collapses. The ultimate scam of race economics is that it uses historical pain to hide modern corruption. True economic victory belongs to systems that reward production, merit, and free-market competition. t.me/fmazhindu

The winners of BEE have been politically connected figures and ANC party insiders. Cyril Ramaphosa, Tokyo Sexwale, Saki Macozoma, and Bridgette Radebe are some of the cadres who should be bragging about these laws because they have become multimillionaires using them. Their immense wealth stands in sharp contrast to the reality of ordinary South Africans, who continue to face the fallout of state capture, systemic corruption, failing public services, and significant underfunding in healthcare and education. Racial quotas and these fraudulent laws are deeply flawed. They only benefit government officials and act as a systemic looting machine that offers no benefit to ordinary citizens.

After hearing what was said about Michelle Obama at the White House last night, I can’t stay silent. She’s a Princeton- and Harvard-educated attorney, a former First Lady, and a global example of intelligence, grace, and elegance. I’m speaking up because she taught us: *“When they go low, we go high.”* That means calling out disrespect while still choosing dignity. I stand with Michelle Obama. And she represents the best of American values.

Our allies see it. Our enemies see it. The whole world sees it. Weakness is being sold as strength. Trump looks bruised, swollen, exhausted, and barely able to keep his eyes open, yet MAGA still pretends he’s some kind of He-Man figure. And somehow the press looks at the pictures, listens to the rambling, watches the decline in real time, and acts like everything is completely normal because they care more about color and clicks than our Democracy. History won't be kind to the cowards.

Gavin Newsom said today that Trump has directed the DOJ at him and his wife. Federal agents are knocking on the doors of old friends and former staff, a grand jury is running, and years of documents are being pulled apart on the theory that something incriminating must be in there somewhere. Investigations are supposed to start with a crime, then go looking for the man. This is that run backwards: they have the man and are hunting for a crime to fit him. And he is not the first name on the list. James, Schiff, Cook, Powell all got the same treatment, and the cases keep collapsing in court because they were built backwards. America spent eighty years lecturing other countries about exactly this. The lecture is over.

The United States is sending this 80-year-old man with a limited vocabulary, face painted in orange pigment, hand bruises covered in caked makeup, girdled pants, and hair that is indescribable, overseas to high level meetings with world leaders, ostensibly to speak to America's interests. But all he will do - like he always does - is insist that up is down and bad is good, and he is smart and they are not, and he will recite grandiose claims of wars he thinks he has ended, he will insult his predecessors, and then - in incomplete and broken sentences - he will rant, ramble, and riff ... it might start on subjects of global import but will descend to windmills, witch hunts, whales, water pressure, and whatever, and the audience will roll their eyes collectively. He will make a few veiled threats, and then - perhaps - dangle a proposition or a concept of a proposition, filled with hyperbole, which enriches his oligarchy, presented as an opportunity, which all should abide because he is competent and smart, and the audience's eyes will almost roll out of their sockets. The world leaders that are the recipients of all this are respectful and smiling on the outside but making fun of him privately at every turn. Each and every one of them knows they cannot trust the 80-year-old man, knows that the 80-year-old man is ill and in decline, susceptible to praise and grift, and they know that if they wait it out a little longer, the 80-year-old man will be gone, and they'll have a more comfortable and less risky discourse with someone else soon.
