The government has failed to control prescription drug misuse, online drug supply, pharmacy-level leakage, and youth drug abuse hotspots. Govt must immediately act: Stop illegal online sale of Tapentadol Enforce strict prescription verification before dispatch Track courier and parcel movement of such drugs Create a cyber-drug control cell Conduct pharmacy and online vendor audits Track supply from manufacturer to pharmacy Monitor lodges and known hotspots Provide free de-addiction and counselling support for youth A prescription painkiller becoming a street drug is a dangerous warning.
