That creates a champagne problem: the rate at which they can load inventory and export orders for fulfillment eventually can’t keep up with the platforms incredible buyer demand. Today we’re excited to launch our official
@shop sales channel - enabling sellers to seamlessly sync their inventory and use companies like
@ShipBob to help scale their fulfillment in line with their sales.
As always, we build with our sellers here at Whatnot, and it was incredible to see 30 sellers do more than $10M of synced orders during our pilot. Gaines Pet, a seller of all-natural dog treats, told us inventory management had previously limited them to going live about 10 to 12 hours a week. Now they’re streaming nearly 30 hours a week and expect to increase that by another 30% next month.
