pursuing more than one go-to-market at a time pre-product/market fit is one of the biggest mistakes startups make nailing ONE go-to-market is hard enough unlocking product/market fit is a process of elimination (one at a time) not a hedge (mutli-plays at once) it's one of the main reasons in early days folks feel lost, confused, and unsure where to go ... and, more folks are doing it than realize

I've been reading @wes_bush’s Product-Led Playbook this week—lots of great tips for founders. Key takeaway: find the market you can dominate as the obvious choice. Don’t get stuck in the "Commodity zone". It's worth a read! Check it out here: productled.com/

One thing that sets AI apart from previous platform shifts, like mobile or cloud, is that it’s a wide open space for new UX paradigms. In AI, we have endless new problems that are being solved with no historical analog, leading to entirely new ways of interacting with software.

The way you become right, Is by assuming you’re not right, and exploring. The more you assume you’re not right about anything, the more you can grow to be right about everything.

A bad entrepreneurial environment causes brain drain of your most skilled people because they will go elsewhere to start new companies (and get rich) Some of those new companies will become very big Those big companies could have made up a large % of your economy in 10-20 years but now they're elsewhere And if a country stops making those new companies it means you will become poorer, but it might take 10-20 years to see that happen
Replying to @levelsio
Do you feel like entrepreneurs just leave to US/elsewhere or do many stay and get stifled? I'm in Canada and seeing more and more talented people leave for the US. It seems to me like entrepreneurs generally find a way, at great cost to the countries they exit.

no founder wants to hear this, but … you are (and will be) the best at sales at your startup - visionary/inspiring - subject matter expert - least sales-y - top of chain - will (likely) be most attentive - will be there longer than anyone else stop saying your bad at sales, respect the craft and get your reps in — and understand rejection is redirection not to mention, you’ll see things budding you likely weren’t aware of and stay top of game/market

I’ll pay you $5k if you refer me an A Head of Growth for @equipfoods — know anyone? Some quick stats: 🚀 Mid 8-figures in revenue, bootstrapped, and highly profitable (no VC BS) ✌️Lean 3 FTE team at the moment (no micromanaging or endless meetings) ❗️Only currently focusing on one marketing channel (crazy upside and opportunity) 🛍️ Industry best CR, LTV, and subscription numbers (clear product market fit) 🥤Real food supplement products that are clean, transparent, and of the highest-quality that people absolutely love (actually doing something in CPG) We think people should be eating a real foods based diet, and when they can’t cover all the bases they need, they should be supplementing with… more real foods. This is why we sell things like beef protein powder, colostrum, collagen, sweet potato powder, etc., test them rigorously for purity, and never add any weird sh*t most other brands do. Tag your referral and/or sendt them the link to the JD and application (in replies) and have them tell us they were referred by you, if we hire them, I’ll send you $5k in whatever form is most appealing.
