Denis, I looked at your paper... It makes the same algorithmic mistake as the IPCC models but in a much simpler context. You failed to couple radiative transfer to convective heat exchange in a single system of simultaneous equations, and as a result arrived at the WRONG solution!
Your conclusion that a CO2 doubling would cause 1.4 C global warming is total nonsense (as are similar predictions by the IPCC models), because CO2 does not add energy to the system and cannot trap heat, since the atmosphere has no lid and is OPEN to Space (open systems do not trap heat as this would violate the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics).🙂

🚨MORE EVIDENCE that Earth's paleoclimate has been driven by changes in total atmospheric mass and surface pressure rather than CO2.
The NZ planetary temperature Model, which depends on total pressure as a driver of the Atmospheric Thermal Effect, was able to reproduce accurately the relationship between Global Temperature (GT) and the Latitudinal Temperature Gradient (LTG) inferred from geological records based on d18O proxies over the past 93 My.
The attached graph compares the GT-LTG relationship derived from proxies reported by Gaskell et al. (2022: pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.21…) with a GT-LTG relationship independently predicted by the NZ Model for the past 93 My assuming that atmospheric pressure was the driver of Earth's past climate.
This is a breakthrough finding and a strong proof for the correctness of the Nikolov-Zeller hypothesis!
