And I know about the ways the USA pressures us - however, we have provided them with the means to pressure us by being overly committed to the imagined US-KRG alliance. The *US-backing* is imagined and not founded in reality nor is there any agreement or similar.

Trump rushed into this confrontation aggressively without calculating the real cost. Now he’s rushing to get out of it without understanding the cost of backing down. The U.S. will completely lift it's Navy blockade. Iran will receive monetary compensation. Through lifting of some sanctions or through various Gulf countries. No leadership change. The Islamic Republic of Iran is still standing. Thus far, Iran won this war.
