You have my sympathy, Spencer. Some pen pusher just wanted to make their mark. I do hope you're able to charge the BBC double for any work they ask you to do for them from now on.

Tech Now seems very much in the mould of offerings from the likes of @FRANCE24 and @euronews etc whereas I felt @BBCClick felt like a true successor to tomorrows world etc which ironically I guess is what the other news channels where trying to emulate maybe ?

I always watched Click, but Tech Now has passed me by. I bet I’m not the only one. I wonder how viewer numbers compare?

You can’t say it, but we can. Idiotic people in charge promoted beyond their talents who will never face consequences for their bad decisions.

Yes you were stitched up there mate. Click was better because I preferred the presenters.

In 2010 to 2016 I was obsessed with @BBCClick . In the morning they always talked about the latest technologies and innovations. Right now I'm not sure if any such platform exists

@BBCClick I have a fascinating case study for you. My dog Lia was saved from euthanasia by @grok. It's a real world story about how AI is disrupting veterinary practice. It can help, support and save lives. @WIRED #GrokSavesLives

Horrific gang rape , persecution and killing of Christian’s in India The young Kuki women who was gang raped by a mass mob of Hindus in Manipur has succumbed to her torture and injuries It’s India - she will never get justice World leaders ignore India’s human atrocities against non Hindus for deals @EUCouncilPress @eucopresident @POTUS @washingtonpost @BBCClick
The grandmother of the Kuki woman who was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped in Imphal during the peak of the Kuki–Meitei ethnic clashes in May 2023 has made a passionate appeal for justice. She said her granddaughter never fully recovered from the severe physical and psychological trauma of the assault and suffered prolonged mental and physical illness, which ultimately led to her death.

Yeah. @BBCWorld tried a new “tech show” with @zsk and others, she tried to make it @BBCClick like but sadly that’s NO WAY near to what you produced for the @BBC and now @BBCNews own reputation in trouble, this is all pretty bad sadly. 😔

Why are you killing off Science in Action on the world service, again the BBC is killing off science and educational entertaining radio and TV output like they did with @BBCClick. I guess to be replaced with inane chat shows and love island.

Excitedly on my way to @CheltLitFest to talk Hacking Humanity. The glasses are not a prop to look studious, they are for you more conventional purpose of being able to see (and are actually 3d printed from an old @bbcclick story).
