I'm selling one of my UNIX PDP-11/73s.
This is a turnkey, running, booting PDP-11/73 with 211BSD UNIX, RT-11, RSX11M, and XXDP installed and ready to run. Boots directly off the installed SCSI controller. This is the one to buy if you don't want to invest weeks and a lot of cash to get someone else's headache running!
Hardware inventory:
M8192 KD11-J CPU
M8043 4-Port Serial MUX, with case bulkhead and four serial ports on the back
4 x M8067 512KB RAM boards, wire wrapped and configured, 2M total memory
Emulex UC07 SCSI controller
ZuluSCSI storage w/ SD card featuring pre-configured BSDUNIX, RT-11, RSX11M, etc.
The system also features DEC M7504 Ethernet, so on operating systems that support it (BSD UNIX, RSX11M, etc) you can connect it to the Internet just by plugging it in.
I have invested a great deal of time to tune and build the system, particularly 211BSD UNIX, which is running a custom kernel that supports all of the installed hardware. Other than setting your IP address, it should be completely turnkey.
The machine uses an Emulex UC07 SCSI controller and a ZuluSCSI board as the main storage. There are five images on the card, one for BSD, one for RT-11, one for Games, one for RSX11M, one for XXDP2.2, and one for XXDP2.5. The machine as configured boots automatically in BSD UNIX.
I've included the AUI networking adapter so you can simply plug in an RJ45 ethernet cable and be online.
Terminal not included - it has four serial ports at up to 38.4K/baud, but they're configured to run at 9600. Includes the proper bulkhead and ports for the back of the machine and a tidy installation.
