The second day of the workshop featured in-depth discussions on methods of investigating #cybercrimes and the mechanisms for handling #evidence presented in such cases. The sessions focused on the legal and #procedural standards required to ensure the integrity of evidence and its admissibility before judicial authorities. The sessions also #highlighted the role of technical and specialized bodies in supporting investigations through #digital evidence analysis, tracking electronic incidents, and providing technical expertise that #helps uncover the details of #cases and strengthen access to justice. In addition, the workshop addressed mechanisms for #protecting victims from a legal perspective, including ensuring confidentiality, protecting privacy, and providing legal protection for those affected, especially in cases involving #women and #girls in the digital space. Launch of a Specialized Workshop in Aden to Strengthen the Legal Framework and Judicial Response to Cybercrime Cases #Insaf_Center_for_Rights and_Development launched today in#Aden a specialized training workshop titled “Strengthening the #Legal Framework and #Judicial Response to Cybercrime Cases,” under the slogan: “Towards Developing an Effective National Cybercrime Legislation.” The workshop is supported by the French Embassy in #Yemen and is part of the project “Cyber Justice for #Women in Yemen (#Brave Women)”, taking place from May 5 to 7, 2026. This #workshop comes as part of the efforts of Insaf Center for Rights and #Development to strengthen the capacities of relevant authorities and key actors in the legal and #judicial sectors, as well as to raise awareness of the increasing challenges related to cybercrime—particularly those targeting women and #girls in the digital space.
