I’ll see if I can get it & read but caste in US is different from how it’s politicized as vote banks in India. It might not be relevant to US pov. Plus here caste is so irrelevant in our lives regardless of nonsense promoted by the caste Gestapo!

@pushpita @sudhaj12 @castefiles will you guys do a book review on this? I'll be perfectly honest, I am highly skeptical of ANY work that makes caste a focal point AND when one writer is a Bengali intellectual and another is a non Hindu 'intellectual'. 😬

Thank you, Vaishali, for making the Indian anthem sung in an international forum. And thanks for mentioning Viswanathan Anand. Anand was not satisfied with winning the world championship; he started the Chess Academy in Chennai, and today India has more than 100 grandmasters, including World Champion Gukesh, Candidates-2026 Women Champion Vaishali & other women GMs @RahulEaswar @castefiles @GeetaSikand @dekhane_mukul @puneet_sahani @Venkata00930660 @organic_om @sreekanthciv @Sangeet09492771 @Maheshshrivatsa @SHHeritage @Sethet280317 @NMukherjee6 @iaadityasoni @srvs123451 @kjayaprasad60 @chincholiarjun @m28_nd @Jitendra040381 @CvkmDharma @nishant223 @smile_smuggler @Lakeview_1 @kno53042876 @GPdirect01 @NimbaSpeaks @SwearyTweet @brian_omweno @DrKVFrancis1 @Rocky77435021 @hengavalli @NavaneethanS17 @RetweeterClown @nitisharya79 @nilbha18 @MDABSAR61848998 @Salahud37710498 @JhonRai15 @SabavatNaresh12 @Kumara0880 @dailypaata @pmbhave1 @JaipurDialogues @PotatoWafer1 @surita63384497 @ZeroHypocrisy @EtrnlCharioteer @Nationalist2575

STORY | Woman can't be treated as 'untouchable' for 3 days: Justice Nagarathna in Sabarimala case A woman cannot be treated as "untouchable" for three days in a month and then cease to be considered untouchable on the fourth day, Supreme Court judge BV Nagarathna remarked on Tuesday. The remark came while a nine-judge bench was hearing petitions related to discrimination against women at religious places, including the Sabarimala temple of Keralam, and on the ambit and scope of religious freedom practised by multiple faiths. The constitution bench comprised Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices B V Nagarathna, M M Sundresh, Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Aravind Kumar, Augustine George Masih, Prasanna B Varale, R Mahadevan and Joymalya Bagchi. Vasco Da Gama discovered the sea route to India with the help of a Gujarati merchant he met at sea (Saalaa, idhar bhi ek Gujjubhai!). That's not the arrival of Christianity, just an European stepped here defiling our holy land. From 15th to 4th CE, the Christian lies travel! Some even spread the lie that Saint Thomas came here. No Christian here till Vasco Da Gama discovered the sea route to India. @RahulEaswar @castefiles @GeetaSikand @dekhane_mukul @puneet_sahani @Venkata00930660 @organic_om @sreekanthciv @Sangeet09492771 @Maheshshrivatsa @SHHeritage @Sethet280317 @NMukherjee6 @iaadityasoni @srvs123451 @kjayaprasad60 @chincholiarjun @m28_nd @Jitendra040381 @CvkmDharma @nishant223 @smile_smuggler @Lakeview_1 @kno53042876 @GPdirect01 @NimbaSpeaks @SwearyTweet @brian_omweno @DrKVFrancis1 @Rocky77435021 @hengavalli @NavaneethanS17 @RetweeterClown @nitisharya79 @nilbha18 @MDABSAR61848998 @Salahud37710498 @JhonRai15 @SabavatNaresh12 @Kumara0880 @dailypaata @pmbhave1 @JaipurDialogues @PotatoWafer1 @surita63384497 @ZeroHypocrisy @EtrnlCharioteer @Nationalist2575
Christianity arrived in India when the Zoroastrian king Shapur I expelled his seditious Christian subjects from the Persian Empire in the 4th century CE. That's around 1,700 years ago. So basically it has taken the Christian church in India 17 centuries to pick a Dalit as their first Cardinal. How long will the church take to elect a Dalit Pope? Martin Luther King's observation that "Sunday is the most segregated day of the week" in America is true of Christianity in India too. Dalits and upper caste Christians both attend separate churches. Some time back, Syrian Christians in Kerala lynched a lower caste Christian boy for marrying a Syrian Christian girl. Christianity, like its sister Islam, is not a religion of equality.

If Brahmins had 100% reservation, then Kshatriyas had 100%, Vaishyas had 100%, and Shudras had 100% reservation! Each Varna studied the subjects of their respective professions. It is utter nonsense to say that only Brahmins studied and others didn't. In those days, they didn't apply for jobs and didn't attend interviews to get them. Each man learnt and worked the profession of his Varna. @RahulEaswar @castefiles @GeetaSikand @dekhane_mukul @puneet_sahani @Venkata00930660 @organic_om @sreekanthciv @Sangeet09492771 @Maheshshrivatsa @SHHeritage @Sethet280317 @NMukherjee6 @iaadityasoni @srvs123451 @kjayaprasad60 @chincholiarjun @m28_nd @Jitendra040381 @CvkmDharma @nishant223 @smile_smuggler @Lakeview_1 @kno53042876 @GPdirect01 @NimbaSpeaks @SwearyTweet @brian_omweno @DrKVFrancis1 @Rocky77435021 @hengavalli @NavaneethanS17 @RetweeterClown @nitisharya79 @nilbha18 @MDABSAR61848998 @Salahud37710498 @JhonRai15 @SabavatNaresh12 @Kumara0880 @dailypaata @pmbhave1 @JaipurDialogues @PotatoWafer1 @surita63384497 @ZeroHypocrisy @EtrnlCharioteer @Nationalist2575
“Brahmins had 100% reservation for 3000 years,” says Dr Vikas Divyakirti. One sentence. Distortion with intent. A shortcut to turning one community into the villain of every era. @sangamtalks

By prioritising caste in campus life, instead of elevating the educationally deprived, we end up diluting, even diverting, what academic institutions are for—to pursue knowledge & truth in a systematic & accountable manner. news18.com/opinion/being-ind… @Network18Group @castefiles

Why blame Brahmins? They were never the rulers. They never sat on the throne and administered the society. It is the Kings (Kshatriyas) who ruled. The reason for blaming Brahmins is to eliminate them by force. If Brahmins are not there, there will be nobody to remember the Vedas. If the Vedas are lost, then the Hindu religion is dead. This is the reason for spreading enmity against Brahmins, backed by Christians, Muslims, and Communists, both domestic and foreign.

It should be read by everyone involved in India’s caste reservation debates.” Thiyagarajan, one of the authors, echoes this view: “AISHE data reveals that availability of opportunities for SC, ST, OBC students in Higher Education is not an issue anymore—it is above average. Now the focus should be to ensure that the creamy layer amongst them does not take away the opportunities of those in the lower rung.” Read our latest press release👇👇 conta.cc/48I4JzQ @RajivMessage @BabonesBhai @dalitdiva @Prakash_London @thebritishhindu @EqualityLabs @Profdilipmandal @IGuruPrakash @surajyengde @ProfVemsani @jsaideepak @ARanganathan72 @RatanSharda55 @RichaGotham #IIM #HigherEducation #India #MOE #CasteFiles
