On top, I was reworking my console wall which displays generation 2-8 of classic video consoles. And all are working and can be used!

In the last weeks, I was busy setting up my new metallurgical microscope. The lamp needed repair and I had to organise a fitting power supply. Quality made in the 1980s! Soon new pictures will come!

Hey everyone!
Hope you're all doing wonderfully. Today, I want to take a little trip down memory lane and talk about something that's not only a testament to technological innovation but also a significant part of our personal histories – retro gadgets. 🕰️
Remember the days of big, chunky, boxy designs? Those gadgets that weren't just devices but statement pieces in our homes and offices. I'm talking about the classic designs that paved the way for the sleek, minimalist tech we use today. There’s something incredibly nostalgic about the aesthetic and tactile feel of these old gadgets, isn't there?
Now, here’s a personal share – I still have not one, but two old Apple Macintosh Classic SEs. These pieces aren't just electronics; they're time capsules, evoking memories of the early days of personal computing, the excitement of booting up a game or typing on that uniquely tactile keyboard.
I'm curious, do any of you still hold onto your old gadgets? Whether it’s an old gaming console, a chunky mobile phone, or maybe even a vintage calculator – I’d love to hear about what you’ve kept and the stories behind them. Are you attached to these items? Do they bring back memories, or do you appreciate their design and the era they represent?
Let’s share some stories and maybe even some pictures! It’s amazing how these pieces of technology tell a story not just about technological advancement, but about our personal journeys as well.
Looking forward to your stories and pictures!
Stay retro, stay awesome!
