Day 56 of 100. I have no problem with “vibe coders” or “prompt engineers” I absolutely wish everyone the best. Genuinely, I hope that project you’re working on is successful or you get that job you want and I hope you continue your journey to build and create things people may need or use one day. Something I’ve learned about the tech industry is that it can sadly be one of the most toxic industries out there. People judging others because of how they are trying to achieve their goals. What school they went to, do they have a degree or not, do they do things the same way I do them, if not you’re cast out. For some people this isn’t just a job or career choice but a way out of a tough spot. When I was born both my parents were wanted criminals. We were in and out of foster care and in and out of homelessness at times. Growing up I had very little access to technology or knowledge of how it worked or who shaped it. College was never a real discussion… but I refuse to settle for what’s expected of me and choose to work my a** off until I achieve my goals.
