RESULTS DELIVERED for #MN01: Today, I was proud to secure critical federal funding for two major southern Minnesota infrastructure priorities. In Byron, $2 million will help build new interchanges at CSAH 3 and CSAH 5, improving safety along one of the region’s busiest and most dangerous corridors. In Mankato, $3.5 million in funding will support the construction of a new air traffic control tower at the Mankato Regional Airport, a vital airport with more than 120,000 flight operations each year. Funding for these projects was secured through the FY26 annual appropriations process, which Senators Smith and Klobuchar voted against despite the infrastructure needs of our #MN01 communities. It’s an honor to advocate for southern Minnesotans in Congress and secure the federal resources our region needs – that’s exactly what this crucial funding delivers.

Butterfield has received $1,050,000 to go toward needed repairs and upgrades to their city’s wastewater treatment facility. Glad to secure this important investment in Butterfield’s critical water infrastructure.
