3 years. no degree. no mentor. just a sketchbook and the kind of stubbornness that keeps you up at 2am. UI isn't about pretty. it's about making people feel something before they think something. still building. dosocket.com @figma @dribbble @designcode

Funny that you mention this, we were discussing how DesignCode started to look dated. Surprised that it lasted this long though. The wide tracking eyebrow titles is something I use a lot. I can promise you that AI is just another tool, and I’m pouring my soul into this. It’s just that I can finally get my ideas to finishing line.

Have employees but from the DesignCode days. They mostly help create templates and content. I pretty much go solo on coding except for some backend/security tasks.

🚨 COMMUNITY-LED! 🚨 (Apparently…) Sandwell Council says its new Design Code is “rooted in the community” and shaped by “extensive engagement”. Which is impressive…because most of the community didn’t know it was happening. 📅 Summer consultation 👀 Minimal publicity 📊 “Lots of comments” (but very few actual people) 🕵️‍♂️ A mysterious Community Design Panel (names? criteria? anyone?) 🌳 Friends Groups and civic volunteers… largely missing 📄 A consultation only a planning consultant could love And yet we’re told this will shape how Sandwell is built for decades. I’ve written a hard-hitting, factual but sarcastic blog asking some very simple questions: Who actually knew about this? Who was consulted — and who wasn’t? Why is “comment count” being confused with participation? And why does every consultation now feel like homework? 👉 Read the full blog here: darrylmagher.blogspot.com/20… Grab a brew ☕ — it’s worth it. #Sandwell #DesignCode #CommunityLedApparently #ConsultationTheatre #LocalDemocracy #FriendsGroups #planningapprove #sameoldsameold

Someone should designcode this because I think the idea is solid but don't want to sink time into something that sucks

@filip_animation The masterclass is beginner-friendly and highly detailed. The other courses are slightly more advanced; however, the courses from DesignCode are available for free.
