Yes really. There are also many disabled people who need one waiting on wheelchair services. When I knew I needed one my GP told me to buy my own because I’d be ‘waiting forever’ so I did out of my savings & they are not cheap #DisabilityPremium
I expressed surprise. I have two <16s in the house. Agent suggested I claim #childbenefit - I do. I asked if there was anything else I could claim - informed once work capability had been assessed I might qualify for #disabilitypremium - another £300 or so. 5/
#universalcredit will kill me if i get moved over as its basically removing £3000 to £4000 a year from my benefit by not supporting #Disabilitypremium which I currently get. So it means im stuck in the house that I want to move from but cant as cant afford to lose money #benefits

yup. I @RicketyPress in Oxford had a scheme for a month where you paid less if you handed in your phone & refused to answer numerous complaints. People already pay a #disabilitypremium for basic services & utilities. Seems so for drinks & socialising as well now
