Latest update on the
#AlexanderMountainFire
DAMAGE ASSESSMENT:
Damage Assessment Teams were escorted into areas of the fire yesterday to conduct assessments. There were a few properties at the end of Spruce Mountain that could not be accessed due to increased fire activity, otherwise the teams were able to complete assessments.
The Larimer County Sheriff, John Feyen, and Director of Emergency Management, Lori Hodges, made
notifications last night to property owners with damaged structures. There are a few addresses where we were unable to reach the property owner and will be trying again today. Total numbers for damages
properties include:
• 25 Residential Structures destroyed
• 20 Outbuildings destroyed
• 4 Residential Structures with minimal damage
No impacted residents have housing needs at this time. Larimer OEM will be providing resources, photos, and
information via email to everyone impacted today.
Stone Canyon Fire: Confirmed 5 structures lost, per Boulder County Office of Disaster Management.
CASUALTY REPORT:
No reported civilian or responder fatalities/injuries in the Alexander Mountain Fire.
One civilian fatality and four firefighter injuries reported for the Storm Canyon Fire in Boulder County.
