200 Voices. One Purpose.
Today, our journey in Mathare took us to Mabatini, where we engaged 75 community members in deep, thoughtful conversations through our comprehensive survey. With this, we’ve now reached 200 community members across Mathare — 200 voices sharing their realities, their concerns, and their hopes for a safer future for their children.
It wasn’t just about numbers — it was about stories. About understanding the everyday experiences that shape children’s safety and well-being.
Guided by our mission to combat child sexual assault and support survivors, our team spent the day listening. From household to household, ward to ward, we gathered insights that will ensure our interventions are data-driven, community-centered, and evidence-based.
A special appreciation to all those who made today a success. Your commitment and courage inspires everything we do. Ashley Nganga, Coleman Okware, Eugene Ruto, David Nduuru, Elmer Nyabuto, Dennis Gitonga, Dalvins Okeyo, Derrick Langat, Brian Gitau, Titus Gaitho, Kerry Williams, Collins Kerich.
This work isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. Because real change starts when we understand the ground reality. And we’re just getting started.
