Today, Adroit Consult International participated in the #UnitedNations Business Seminar in Entebbe, gaining valuable insights into UN procurement opportunities and the standards required to effectively engage with the UN system. The session provided practical guidance on strengthening institutional alignment with UN procurement frameworks, enhancing compliance, and positioning ourselves to contribute meaningfully to global supply chain needs. We also had the opportunity to reflect on how our work continues to advance the #SustainableDevelopmentGoals (SDGs) through evidence-based solutions, inclusive development, and strategic partnerships. We remain committed to leveraging this knowledge to expand our impact, strengthen our service delivery, and collaborate more effectively with international development partners. #UnitedNations #UNProcurement #BusinessSeminar #SDGs #AdroitConsultInternational #DevelopmentConsulting #CapacityBuilding #ProcurementOpportunities #InternationalDevelopment #PartnershipsForImpact #EvidenceBasedSolutions #Uganda

Today at the ADIU research dissemination workshop, we've had some fantastic presentations offering actionable solutions for the industry. Here's a look at what has been presented so far: * "Cracking the code: decoding the drivers of Micro health Insurance uptake among Kampala's Urban" by #FrancisBatuma. This research sheds light on the factors that influence why people in urban Kampala do or don't adopt micro-health insurance. Given the low formal insurance uptake in Uganda, this is a crucial study for understanding how to expand coverage to the vast, underserved informal sector. * "Analytical study of the effects of mergers and acquisitions in the Uganda insurance industry" by #NicholasSserunjogi. Mergers and acquisitions can have a massive impact on the market, from competition and innovation to customer loyalty and retention. Nicholas's study provides a data-driven analysis of these effects, offering key insights for leaders and policymakers navigating a changing landscape. 🌟 Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: The Power of Prevention Science 🌍 At the sidelines of the 68th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, #CND68 our CEO @omerikwa, shared profound insights on the Intersections, Challenges, and Opportunities in drug prevention in Africa. Here’s why this matters to YOU: 🔬 Prevention Science is the Key It’s not just about stopping drug use—it’s about creating healthier individuals, stronger families, and thriving communities. By combining epidemiology, psychology, and social sciences, we’re crafting evidence-based strategies that WORK. 🌱 Kenya’s Progress From school-based programs to community-driven initiatives, Kenya is leading the charge in implementing International Standards on Drug Use Prevention. But the journey is far from over. 🚧 Challenges We Face Limited resources and funding 💰 Gaps in research and data 📊 Cultural stigmas and misconceptions 🚫 Coordination gaps between stakeholders 🤝 💡 Opportunities Ahead Global collaboration for knowledge sharing 🌐 Training programs to build local expertise 🎓 Political goodwill to drive policy change 🗳️ Community engagement for sustainable impact 🏘️ 🌟 Lessons Learned Prevention is cheaper than cure. One size does NOT fit all—localized solutions are key. Data-driven policies save lives. Collaboration is non-negotiable. 💬 Join the Conversation How can we, as a global community, strengthen prevention efforts? What role can YOU play in creating a drug-free future? Let’s unite to turn challenges into opportunities and build a world where prevention is a priority. 📢 Share this post to spread awareness and inspire action. 200 Voices. One Purpose. Today, our journey in Mathare took us to Mabatini, where we engaged 75 community members in deep, thoughtful conversations through our comprehensive survey. With this, we’ve now reached 200 community members across Mathare — 200 voices sharing their realities, their concerns, and their hopes for a safer future for their children. It wasn’t just about numbers — it was about stories. About understanding the everyday experiences that shape children’s safety and well-being. Guided by our mission to combat child sexual assault and support survivors, our team spent the day listening. From household to household, ward to ward, we gathered insights that will ensure our interventions are data-driven, community-centered, and evidence-based. A special appreciation to all those who made today a success. Your commitment and courage inspires everything we do. Ashley Nganga, Coleman Okware, Eugene Ruto, David Nduuru, Elmer Nyabuto, Dennis Gitonga, Dalvins Okeyo, Derrick Langat, Brian Gitau, Titus Gaitho, Kerry Williams, Collins Kerich. This work isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. Because real change starts when we understand the ground reality. And we’re just getting started. #BringingSmiles #CommunityFirst #ChildProtection #Mathare #EveryChildMatters #DataDrivenImpact #ListeningToLead #EvidenceBasedSolutions
