🚀 IoT-Based Smart Safety Monitoring System using ESP8266 with WhatsApp Alerts
Excited to share my latest IoT project where I designed and implemented a multi-hazard smart monitoring system using ESP8266.
This system detects:
🔥 Fire using a Flame Sensor
💨 Smoke when value exceeds threshold (>170)
💧 Water Leakage using a Water Sensor
⚙️ Key Features:
✅ Unique buzzer sound for each hazard
✅ RGB LED indication:
🟢 Green – Fire
🔴 Red – Smoke
🔵 Blue – Water
✅ Manual buzzer stop using push button
✅ Automatic buzzer timeout for safety
✅ Real-time WhatsApp alert notifications via WiFi
Whenever fire, smoke, or water is detected, the system immediately:
• Activates the buzzer with a unique pattern
• Displays a visual alert using RGB LED
• Sends a WhatsApp message for instant remote notification
This project helped me strengthen my skills in:
