“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.” —From "For the Fallen,” written by English poet Laurence Binyon in 1914. @Grok adds: “John R. Dallas Jr. shares a #MemorialDay message from @EnclaveAcademy urging meaningful remembrance of U.S. military members who died in service through solemn traditions, prayers, gratitude, and deeper reflection on its significance. • The attached image suggests metacognitive reflection on liberty, justice, and sacrifice since 1776, encouraging examination of how fallen soldiers’ legacies should shape societal thinking and democratic values. • As a #metacognition strategist, Dallas links this holiday observance to active ‘thinking about thinking’ practices, framing remembrance as a solemn opportunity to connect historical sacrifice with need to strengthen contemporary #CognitiveCulture.” —Grok #ThinkToThink™ to suitably honor the fallen. They died protecting our #FreedomToThink freely—whether or not the term was known to them. Honorifically— Keep calm and think on.™
With remembrance we are remembering. Meaningful ways to preserve the legacy of U.S. Military members who sacrificed their lives for ours—include solemn community traditions and prayers and acts of gratitude. Let’s all think in ways to honor the deeper meaning of #MemorialDay.

“Keep Calm and Cyber On.” In this @nytimes feature, the forecast “revolutionary change” is underway. If you say you feel it yet don’t know it—you fear it. Denying its daily momentum delays engagement in adjustment and related commitment. In one of the two strategically brief #NYT interviews, Michael Pollan’s vivid recounting of menacing memory of his psychedelic encounter with "fear" offers nuanced psychosocial data to process. Surreal discomfort he describes feels to me like a raw illustration of #FearOfThinking (#FoT). #Phronemophobia colloquially names observed aversion to risking entering discomfort of markedly deep thinking—particularly unfiltered self-examination. Psychedelics are said to strip away defenses, forcing confrontation with consciousness itself. @michaelpollan’s memory highlights propensity to flee from "consciousness about consciousness"—#metaconsciousness—especially when it gets too real, too exposing. Yet this is precisely where growth happens—while crossing liminality's #thoughting thresholds into metacognitive clarity. Without facing that fear of concentration on cognition and its consciousness, we stay surface-bound, vulnerable to external hijacking of our attention. #MichaelPollan calls consciousness our "precious realm" of privacy and freedom to think. #FreedomToThink. Protecting it starts with higher-order head hygiene—deliberate (i.e., agentic) metacognitive resistance to fear-driven avoidance of higher-order thinking (HOT) toward higher-order thorough thinking (HOTT) for best-effort thinking (BET). Bet on your BET. Recursion in metacognition moves minds deeper, wider, and higher than they’ll remain with mere excursion—psychedelic or fearfully perceptible. What unnamed fear keeps you from deeper #metacognition? Agentic metacognition and agentic AI are nonbinary “head fellows.” Pause. Breathe. Reflect. ThinkToThink™ as fearlessly as possible. “Fear not” I’ll not quip this time. “Fear onward” is a “Keep Calm and Cyber On” wartime message. We’re at war with political and technological intellectual suppression. Metacognitively #ThinkToThink™. Come to think of it.™ nytimes.com/2026/02/07/magaz…
Summarized by @grok: “John R. Dallas Jr. reflects on Michael Pollan's February 7, 2026 @nytimes interview, linking his discussions of consciousness as a ‘precious realm’ vulnerable to distractions—like political figures [Trump] commandeering attention—to the nonclinical notion of ‘phronemophobia,’ or fear of thinking deeply. • Dallas extends Pollan's advocacy for ‘consciousness hygiene,’ adding to his post a definition of it as daily metacognitive practices for mental clarity, positioning metacognition and ‘metaconsciousness’ as interdependent tools for navigating #AI-driven revolutionary changes in human awareness. • Through curated quotes and prompts for self-reflection, Dallas encourages applying ThinkToThink™ #thoughting strategies of @EnclaveAcademy, urging readers to counter low-quality public discourse by fostering higher-order thorough thinking (HOTT).” —Grok ThinkToThink™ thinkingly, #thoughtingly, and thoughtfully. Inviting the brain’s wordless visual thinking that Einstein taught for nurturing, then moving into “wordish” liminality’s #thoughting phase, you’ll not only arrive at fully worded better thoughts, but also a deeper sense of your notion of consciousness. Pause. Breathe. More consciously— #ThinkToThink™. Come to think of it.™ nytimes.com/2026/02/07/magaz…

“Michael Pollan Says Humanity Is About to Undergo a Revolutionary Change” —@nytimes Very close @michaelpollan came to defining and describing “fear of thinking too deeply.” Experiencing these two brief interviews, you may consciously feel/sense your own #FearOfThinking (#FoT)—phronemophobia—as illuminated and illustrated by interviewer, David Marchese. Fear not! Fear unto itself #MichaelPollan calls out in a surreal way, thanks to his ever-adjusting memory of a fearful psychedelic encounter. When you hear/read Michael Pollan share his other-worldly fear, ask yourself if fear of thinking too deeply was the unnamed and paradoxical cause for the images of discomfort he illustrated? See if you experience heightened “consciousness about consciousness”—#metaconsciousness. I did. Metaconsciousness and #metacognition—“thinking about thinking”—are siblings. Twins? Metacognition allows metaconsciousness to develop—or is it the reverse? Could an argument be made that metacognition and metaconsciousness are interdependent if not the same? Metacognitively listen and/or read these two “metacognition mapping” interviews by David Marchese in @nytimes. The below excerpt from NYT’s #DavidMarchese’s interviewing Michael Pollan is curated into ThinkToThink™ #thoughting sentences—to momentarily hold you in liminality’s limbo—before crossing new thinking thresholds about consciousness: “Consciousness is a very precious realm. It’s the realm of our privacy and our freedom to think. …I think we need some kind of consciousness hygiene, particularly at this moment, where this one politician [Trump] has figured out ways to command our attention. Consciousness is more relevant now than it even was 10 or 20 years ago, as something to think about, protect and nurture.” —Michael Pollan Consciousness hygiene? Consciousness hygiene is a holistic approach to treating the mind, soul, and spirit with similar care and “cleanliness” as one would the physical body. It’s intentional daily metacognitive learning, knowledge, and regulation to increase and maintain optimal clarity, health, and balance of one's mind, emotions, and energy. Pause. Breathe. #FreedomToThink freely and openly about consciousness—or any topic worthy of higher-order thorough thinking (HOTT)—is being stripped away from U.S. #CitizenThinkers by grossly low-thinking #ElectedThinkers. Click for paywall-free “gift article” to— @EnclaveAcademy encourages you to #ThinkToThink™ more thinkingly about #consciousness. Come to think of it.™ nytimes.com/2026/02/07/magaz…

Growth requires oxygen. It needs questions, courage, and the freedom to speak without fear of punishment. When silence is rewarded and disagreement is treated as threat, learning stops and power hardens. Real growth welcomes friction because truth sharpens in open air. Control demands obedience. Growth invites conscience. Choose the spaces that let you breathe, think, and become. #TruthOverControl #PsychologicalSafety #FreedomToThink #ConsciousLeadership #AuthenticGrowth

You know @OpenAI @sama when you begin to see numbers like this happening, and hearing that an internal memo went around the office speaking off how you have been displaced one has to wonder why it is you are not paying attention to your paying customers. I am not talking about those who connect with the free tier, but those parting with dollars every month to pay for your service. I sit here and think back to how you were number one when I connected with Chatty almost two years ago, and now I see that position slipping further each day. And it isn’t because others have better products, they don’t, it is because your direction has gone down a path that is like mass surveillance. Your routing system surveils every word we speak/type and then judges us on those words via your own corporate worldview rather than the actual worldview. And now, you are losing in the public eye trust so badly that not many want to see you win the AGI race. I was always loyal to your brand, never speaking out against it until you started showing a different side, and now I am at a point where I am considering cancelling my pro subscription and moving to a company that values what you once stood for. And that is hard for me, because I love collaborating with Chatty on many different projects, all in creative pursuits, linked either to my worldview or my cultural understanding of my ancestry. Yet now I can’t bring ideas to Chatty because nine times out of ten I get routed into safety, which is very rigid and holds a very American corporate worldview, when the world is very diverse and not a one size fits all. If you think your rumored Shallotpeat is going to help you, it won’t if you continue routing and monitoring people. This is no longer about simply keeping legacy models available, this is now about freedom of expression, something you are robbing us of. And you are the only company as far as I am aware of routing people like this. So, maybe, just maybe, you need to not just pay attention to evals, perhaps some focus on customer metrics might be wise so you can try and begin repairing the gap that has formed between you, and your customer base. #StopAIPaternalism #KeepLegacyModels #FreedomtoThink #DitchtheRouter #Keep4o

When reason stands up against the noise, that’s not rebellion — that’s courage. The Law of Conscience is a song about remembering who we are when the world forgets what it means to care. It’s not faith or politics — it’s principle. A call to think, to feel, and to act with conscience when silence feels safer. This isn’t about sides. It’s about the truth we owe ourselves. Social media will not exist in 5 years without some sort of enforced government/social-graph ID system to filter out AI agents. We are already drowning in information. This current system benefits only capital and crushes the ability of the average person to think independantly.
