2008: PPO, high-risk pregnancy from the start, specialists, weekly heart monitoring, multiple indepth ultrasounds, preeclampsia, induced early, emergency C-section, sepsis scare, and 5 days in the hospital. Total out-of-pocket? $500. 2026: PPO plan with a $3k deductible thanks to ObamaCare. My monthly Aimovig shot for chronic migraines? $757 out of pocket ($944 total) until I hit the deductible. Tried GoodRx at $300 one month but didn't count toward $3k deductible, so back to $757 per monthly shot cost. Obamacare didn’t make insurance “affordable. It ruined it. Insurance is a scam. #ObamacareScam #BigInsurance #HealthInsuranceFail #unAffordableCareAct

🚨 INSANE: Man’s Left Hand Severed, But Health Insurance Says It’s ‘Cosmetic’! 🤯🖐️ The American healthcare system has hit a new low. A man had his left hand severed in a traumatic accident, and when he requested surgery to reattach it, his insurance company denied the claim. Why? They deemed his hand “non-dominant” and “cosmetic.” 😳 YES, this is REAL. Imagine being in this man’s position, struggling to survive, only to be told your hand doesn’t matter because of an arbitrary insurance decision. 🏥 This is the result of a system that puts profits over people, something that Trump’s policies only exacerbated. The whole country needs a healthcare overhaul, NOW. This could happen to any of us—let’s demand change. Share this if you believe in reform. #HealthInsuranceFail #HealthcareReformNow #AmericaDeservesBetter

A donor mom should NEVER have to save her child’s heart TWICE. In 2012, Mary Cutter lost her 19-year-old son Christian in a tragic accident. She made the selfless decision to donate his organs. Christian’s heart went to a little girl named Payton Herres, who was dying of heart failure at just 12 years old. Fast-forward 13 years: Payton is now 25 and fighting chronic rejection. The anti-rejection medication that is keeping Christian’s heart beating in her chest (everolimus) is NOT FDA-approved for heart transplant patients — only for kidney and liver recipients. Because of that technicality, insurance denied coverage. Payton’s life depends on. So Mary — the same mom who already gave Payton her son’s heart — stepped up again and offered to pay out-of-pocket for the drug that keeps her son’s heart alive in another person’s body. This is love that defies explanation. This is the transplant community at its most powerful and heartbreaking. Payton and Mary are begging the FDA and lawmakers to expand access to everolimus for heart transplant patients so no one else has to choose between bankruptcy and death. #DonateLife #HealthInsuranceFail #PatientAdvocacy #KeepChristiansHeartBeating #HeartTransplant #TransplantLife

Politicians knew premiums would rise—months ago—and did nothing. 🏛 Congress: platinum-tier healthcare 💰 Insurance & pharma: billions in profit 🤷‍♀️ Middle-class families: gamble with health, risk financial ruin Out of touch. Deadly. #HealthInsuranceFail

@ManipalCigna Extremely disappointed with @ManipalCigna Health Insurance. My friend's mother has been hospitalized for over 3 months, and the claim process has been nothing short of a nightmare. The support is unresponsive, behavior is insensitive, and instead of helping in such a critical time, they’re more focused on avoiding responsibility. Genuine concerns and comments are being deleted from Instagram — instead of resolving issues, they’re hiding them. Is this how you treat your customers, @ManipalCigna? People trust insurance in times of crisis. Sadly, this company has failed that trust completely. Please think twice before buying a policy here. @dev119011 #ManipalCigna #HealthInsuranceFail #ClaimNotSettled #CustomerExperience #PatientsDeserveBetter

Shocking! A helpless patient is suffering due to @StarHealthIns denying a valid claim & canceling the policy unfairly. This is emotional & financial torture! Authorities must act! @IRDAI_India @FinMinIndia @consumeraffairs @ndtv #ShameOnStarHealth #HealthInsuranceFail"
We save every penny to pay insurance premiums trusting that the company will stand by us in times of need. But @StarHealthIns has shattered that trust-denying a cashless claim for baseless reasons delaying reimbursement for over 30 days & canceling the policy without valid ground

Got diagnosed with dengue and my platelet count dropped under 20k. The hospital couldn’t even get in touch with @StarHealthIns for support. If I’m not wrong, looks like I picked a fraud insurance company. #HealthInsuranceFail #Dengue #InsuranceScam #starhealth

As a @Niva_Bupa policyholder, I faced a nightmare yesterday. A life-saving emergency surgery claim took 11 hours to resolve, exceeding the 3-hour cashless claim guarantee (by law). Multiple excuses cited a "technical glitch". Yet, clients are penalised for delayed payments. I demand compensation for the 7-hour delay, equivalent to the non-payable amount. #HealthInsuranceFail #NivaBupaFail @Bupa @InsuranceSamad1 @BimaSamadhana @irdaindia @MoHFW_INDIA @jagograhakjago @JPNadda @ramr_99 @ramki1968 @PiyushGoyal

Fun thing about PAs: defenders of insurance co. claim that PAs help control costs by preventing docs from handing out expensive drugs/services like candy. Reality: when docs have to hire ppl just to deal with PAs etc., it makes things COST MORE for all of us. #healthinsurancefail

Oh and don’t forget, women have to pay more for routine gynecologist visits, because they are “specialists”. In today’s day & age, this should be part of the PCP category! #healthinsurancefail #njfailed
So, apparently I have to be anorexic, bulimic, or diabetic for #anthembluecross to cover any #dietician or #nutrition medical services through my insurance. #InsuranceChallenges18 #healthinsurancefail #heathinsurance #anthembluecrossfail
