On 22 April, the Swamp Removal and Reclamation Project under the New Kampala Port Project team participated in hands-on fire fighting training conducted by the Uganda Police Fire Brigade.
The session focused on practical fire safety skills including fire prevention, correct use of extinguishers, emergency response procedures, and coordinated evacuation drills. It was an engaging and highly valuable exercise that strengthened our team’s preparedness and awareness in managing workplace emergencies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Uganda Police Fire Brigade for their professionalism, expertise, and continued commitment to building safety capacity across project teams.
Safety is at the core of our operations, and training like this plays a vital role in ensuring we are always ready, alert, and equipped to respond effectively when it matters most. @PearlValueGroup
