Great Minds in STEM is proud to highlight Arian Perez Ramos, a Systems Engineering graduate student at The University of Texas at El Paso and a passionate advocate for student leadership, innovation, and academic excellence. 🚀
Originally from the Presidio, Texas / Ojinaga, Mexico border region, Arian has built an impressive STEM journey that includes earning his B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude), becoming a Harvard Business School SVMP alumnus, and receiving recognition as a multi-year GMiS Scholar and UTEP Hawkins Scholarship recipient.
His professional experiences span research and industry, including work on AI hardware security and internships with leading organizations such as Lockheed Martin, RTX Collins Aerospace, and IBM, where he currently serves as a Graduate Hardware Test Engineering Intern.
Beyond engineering, Arian is a dedicated home coffee barista, anime enthusiast, and collector of unique coffee mugs and socks. ☕
As a former Collegiate Senator representing more than 5,000 engineering students, Arian remains committed to supporting and uplifting others while pursuing solutions that strengthen the resilience and security of tomorrow’s technologies.
