It would appear that selling off @Channel4 benefits no one. It’s an act of cultural vandalism based on the fact some Tories don’t like @channel4news. @simonhartmp, it’s time to think about Wales (S4C & Indy producers) who will be impacted by this UK departmental decision. #SaveC4

Clarification: A proposal was made, in response to a request from DCMS, showing how C4 could potentially raise a small amount of outside capital. C4 is in excellent financial health & does not want or need to raise outside capital to fund its future plans.

Not embarrassing enough. The panel let Dorries spout on after she implied C4 is tax payer funded. Then it let her stop someone speak.
These clips are hard to watch - not cos of Tory ignorance or lies but the weak response. Democracy is going down unless it grows teeth. #savec4
