BRS is trying to extract political mileage by deliberately frightening and misleading families living along the Musi banks.
But the reality cannot be hidden anymore.
Every monsoon, Hyderabad watches entire neighbourhoods drown. Families lose their homes overnight. Children grow up beside polluted water, disease and fear. For a decade, the previous government looked away while the Musi slowly turned from the lifeline of Hyderabad into a symbol of neglect.
Rejuvenating the Musi is a moral responsibility.
And Revanth Reddy is the first Chief Minister in Telangana’s history determined to finally confront it head-on and accomplish this goal.
This vision is about rebuilding the future of Hyderabad itself: modern infrastructure, better hospitals, stronger flood management, quality schools, public spaces, economic activity, a vibrant night economy, and restoring the pride and identity of a forgotten river that once shaped this city.
Most importantly, this is not development without humanity.
Families who need rehabilitation will not be abandoned or pushed to the margins. They will be provided housing on government land within the same area, ensuring that people do not lose their livelihoods, community networks or sense of belonging in the name of development.
Developing Hyderabad as the greatest city in the world is CM Revanth Reddy's commitment to this state!
