⬆️ Flagging this to journalists who may not yet have looked closely at the NGO policy pipeline in the water space. Please review the Drive link in the tweet above. The report maps how River Action’s framing now runs through major UK water campaigns and policy spaces - including Surfers Against Sewage, Wildlife and Countryside Link, the WI, The Rivers Trust, March for Clean Water, APPG links and River Summit networks. The concern is simple: the public want a full end to sewage pollution everywhere. They do not want that demand translated into softer NGO asks that leave the legal, treatment and ownership architecture largely intact. Media outlets have a responsibility to platform the full policy debate, not just high-society or establishment-approved campaign voices offering softer asks. That includes working-class policy critics making evidence-led structural arguments on law, treatment standards, ownership and nationalisation - not just using working-class people as local colour, victims or outrage clips. Please review the evidence and make your own assessment. @G4Buntingford @asif_iqbalwater @KeWruas @KumarKu41800 @BeersBench @comicalseagull @digilly1 @SaveOurSevern @TheCanaryUK @stevexe42 @naked_auditor @McgrawLabrador @Anthony_M_Kelly @StonebridgeLock @louisewass2 @JonaRippon @Parlay_Me @RhodaBashford @leavesxvii @Trussonomics101

👀⬆️ It’s not right that @We_OwnIt supporters who want nationalisation of the water sector are being steered by @We_OwnIt and its founder @CatHobbs toward privatisation models. Over the last month SAR has been repeatedly pushed despite being a private bailout mechanism, not nationalisation. Now the position has shifted to “alternative ownership models” that still sit within privatisation. That raises serious ethical and follower representation questions. If you care about honesty in this movement, please share the main tweet and help make this impossible to ignore. @DianaHarding7 @Potamoiboy @rajkishor800 @EChamge13738 @SDoxat @setar656667 @PaulMetMan @porrahait @GrasnaumrT @gdwn22 @gre67498 @G4Buntingford @asif_iqbalwater @KeWruas @KumarKu41800 @BeersBench @comicalseagull @digilly1 @SaveOurSevern @TheCanaryUK @stevexe42 @naked_auditor @McgrawLabrador @Anthony_M_Kelly @StonebridgeLock @louisewass2 @JonaRippon @Parlay_Me @RhodaBashford @leavesxvii @Trussonomics101 @MellorCarolyn @helens_journey @AlienCommander @kezbond38 @_Truthpls @1Beanygree33051 @MarkJLittlewood @jorober69974219 @John_2080 @hahnequipment @freshwaterbio @SirGeogy

Great to get the waders on in the #RiverLea with @StonebridgeLock at the weekend. Strong flow, beautiful willows, birdsong. Likely otter sprait. Shame about the polluted water and wet wipes clinging to reeds and branches.
Magical day surveying for signs of Water vole in our wondrous wild #RiverLea Diversion, #TottenhamMarshes Nature Reserve #SINC #LeeValleyWildlife
