Your website landing page is bleeding money because your copy is too selfish. You write headlines like: "We are an elite 3-step operations software." Nobody cares about your steps. They care about their bleeding revenue. If your hero-section doesn't punch a problem-aware buyer in the face within 3 seconds, they bounce. You pay for the ad click; they leave forever. Stop selling the feature. Start exposing the bottleneck. My team just audited 15 different high-ticket landing pages this week and built a 3-part "Visual Direct-Response Copywriting Swipefile". It shows the exact headline shifts that drop cost-per-acquisition (CPA) by 30% almost instantly. If you are an operator looking to plug your website conversion leaks before Q3 hits: Comment the word "AUDIT" below. I’ll DM you the private breakdown link for free.

Even on short notice, I managed to pull together a few very cool folks for my mastermind dinner in Austin yesterday: - Peep Laja @peeplaja — CEO @ Wynter. 3x Founder. - Nick Christensen @NickAC1 — Head of Growth @ AppSumo - Nick Gray @nickgraynews — Founder of Museum Hack and Best-Selling Author - Neville Medhora @nevmed — Founder of SwipeFile & Kopywriting I'm genuinely stoked about bringing Ahrefs Evolve to Austin in 2027, and getting to meet more of the local marketers and tech entrepreneurs along the way. Live in or around Austin and wanna join the next one? Tag yourself below — I'm keeping a list. 🙂

I've written copy for the biggest business brands in the space as a 20-year-old. Here's the daily 30-minute exercise to get really good (really fast): It's called copywork. Basically, you rewrite great writing by hand. *Gasp* "By hand?!" you shout. B-o-r-i-n-g-g-g Yes, by hand. It's slow. It's tedious. Your hand will cramp. That's the point. You're training your brain to understand what great writing feels like. A few websites to find great copy: • Verygoodcopy[.]com • swipefile[.]com • swiped[.]co Do this for 30 minutes a day for 30 days straight and I promise you will be a completely different copywriter. Ok. That's all for now. As Nietzsche once said, "One repays a teacher badly if one always remains nothing but a pupil." Go do this. Lmk how it goes :) S/o @thesamparr & @itskierandrew

For example we added in our SwipeFile categories pages "Most Popular In This Category" and it raised conversions by 46%!!!! However the next month, it was down to 18%, and now it's almost exactly the same conversion as without them. Temporary things like holidays, a viral social post, an email blast or just randomness can spike-or-tank these results. So while I LOVE conversion hacks like that, I've learned over the years from hundreds of tests that SOMETIMES stuff like this works. It's worth spending time on, but not all your time.

Spent an hour with the team going through our swipefile this morning. A lot of the posts were from completely outside our clients’ niches. The best content ideas almost never come from people in your own space. If you’re only ever consuming "competitor research” you’ll completely lose the creative edge of finding new ideas and adapting them to your market.

Tools we use at The Birdhouse: Hypefury. We batch schedule the full week every Friday across X LinkedIn. Claude. Writers use it as a brainstorm partner. Everything goes through a human editor before it ships. Slack. Every client has a channel. Writers share viral tweets, top hooks, and swipefile content all day. Best ideas usually come from someone dropping a screenshot in chat at random. Google Docs. All QC and client review happens there. Comments, suggestions, revision tracking. Airtable. Company OS: Custom automations, dashboards, KPI tracking, SOP libraries, basically everything else. Nothing fancy. The stack matters way less than the people running it.

I’ve been using AI to write for founders for over a year now it can’t come up with great posts on its own yet, but it makes a good writer go way faster alone I’ve tried a lot of different configurations, and this is what I use every day: → Character archetype sheet Scrape all past content (podcasts, articles, tweets, etc) and distill into a doc for the voice, interests, and worldview guidelines → Swipefile Analyze any top performing posts with notes on why they worked (emotional pull, audience relevance, hook type). Strip hooks, formats, angles, and underlying ideas → Angle alchemist Drop a stream of thoughts and get a bank of angles based on the swipefile → Repurpose alchemist Takes any piece of content and offers a wide range of angles, formats and underlying ideas to do more of what works. → Interviewer bot Inspired from @AndrewAsksHow's style, this bot will ask questions beyond surface level and dig deep into gold nuggets. Excellent for founders who don’t think they have relevant stories to share (they all do) This stack doesn’t replace taste and creativity but it cuts hours every week in repetitive tasks The important part here is to view AI as an assistant to keep an eye on, instead of expecting an expert that will oneshot your tasks
