#Facilitation of online classes becomes engaging as well as interesting for students if we use #technology as an enabler🤝 It was evident today in a 'Reading Skills' session with trainee-teachers👍 @Dir_Education @PbpandeyB @SCERT2021 #edtechchat #teachtoread

I think I ve read just about everything Dick Schutz has written but thank you. Anything he writes is worth reading and re-reading. He is on a reading website I run in the US and is the one who convinced me to use what we call the “little books” a product of his work in the 60’s.

Dick Schutz is an amazing guy: very knowledgeable and percipient. He attended at least two RRF conferences in the past and has been a consistent supporter of SSP for many years. He pops up all over the place with his pithy and often humorous comments :)

I also got my start in 1998 with Diane McGuiness and her book, Why Our Children Can’t Read and What We Can Do About It, saw her on the USA Today Show and she talked about the “ sound pictures” in the word church, ch/ur/ch. I instantly understood that our language is a code.
