📅 14 January 2026 – The Sejm hosted the conference “Challenges to the Security of Poland and the European Union”, initiated by MP
@pomaska - Chair of the Sejm Committee on European Union Affairs. Politicians, experts, and academics discussed how Poland and the EU should respond to rapidly changing geopolitical realities 🌍⚠️
🗨️ “Security is one of the key challenges for Poland and the European Union today,” stressed Agnieszka Pomaska, pointing to the systemic threat posed by Russia and Belarus and the need for long-term, strategic solutions. “We must prepare a comprehensive response at both the national and EU levels,” Agnieszka Pomaska said. She added that particular attention should be paid, among other things, to the issue of the EU’s technological sovereignty. “Without its own technologies, Europe will be vulnerable to external pressure,” she added.
