Tonight, 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟒, 𝐚𝐭 𝟓:𝟑𝟎 𝐩𝐦, the Boone County Fiscal Court will hold a public meeting at the Boone County Administration Building, 2950 Washington Street in Burlington. All Boone County residents are welcome to attend and provide input on items before the Court. As always, you may also email me with any thoughts or questions.
The full agenda is available on the county website, but below are several notable items scheduled for consideration:
• A resolution authorizing the appointment of Tim Banish to fill a vacancy on the Boone County Historic Preservation Review Board.
• A resolution accepting and approving the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) budget and project budget for the Emergency Management & Public Safety Communications Center Project (this is the new PSCC center across from the BCSO).
• A resolution approving the purchase of a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) from Deep Trekker, Inc. for Boone County Water Rescue.
• Resolutions executing the 2026 Grant Agreement and Legally Binding Agreement for the Brighton Recovery Center for Women Recovery Kentucky Project in Boone County.
• A resolution awarding the RFP for Tennis Program Management and Instruction Services to ATKB Tennis.
• A resolution awarding the bid for fireworks for the Boone County 250th Celebration of America to Yokum Fireworks.
• A resolution approving Fiscal Year 2026 mid-year tax fund allocations for designated social service agencies.
• A resolution awarding the bid for Electronics Collection Services to Tri-State Escrap Inc.
• A resolution rejecting all bids for Household Hazardous Waste Collection Services.
• A resolution approving the purchase of police special service and administrative vehicles from Paul Miller Ford.
• A resolution approving the final closeout payment relating to the construction for the Parks Building Project.
