We also need to uncodify the laws they put in place to allow it all. They designed the system this way on purpose. It's not fraud if it's not legally fraudulent.

The supreme court would just automatically rule the codification was unconstitutional. (republicans would also immediately uncodify the next time they won). Only expanding the court will reinstate Row. (Or waiting like 30 years or something)

"trivially easy to uncodify roe" as the republicans enter their 2nd decade trying to undo the ACA, ok man

The economy melted down way BEFORE he became president. It's one of the reasons he was elected president. Plus, FYI, abortion IS healthcare. If it's so easy to uncodify and such and a "waste of time" culture war issue, then he shouldn't have run on it, you clown.

You realize codifying roe does nothing st all because it's just as easy to uncodify it when congress tilts again.

@gmoney7733 did that @DeonDJenkins clown just say another man can’t “uncodify” another man’s opinion? That isn’t even a word. This clown thinks he could have been a lawyer? 🤣 Talk about a narcissistic complex. This Deon clown thinks he’s running for president? What a grifter

Unlike me, I think other countries should uncodify their constitutions

Also, say the Supreme court does leave it in place, if you can codify it with 51 Senate votes you can uncodify it with 51 Senate votes! It does not, somehow, solve the issue. We will have to keep fighting it out!

And don’t try to come back with some nonsense about codifying Roe because that would have been meaningless. It would have been out the window the second the GOP regained power as they would just uncodify it.

The Court did Roe. The Court undid Roe. Congress (if it ignored the financial crisis & infuriated ppl for then focusing on “culture war” issues) could have codified Roe. But a future Congress could still uncodify Roe as easy as the Court. Nothing can ever be solved for good.

"I'm A ScIEnCe". Human life begins at conception. That is a scientific fact. As for the overturn of Roe, what do pro-abortion women have to fear when a majority of every state's voters are women? Whey do they want the male dominated US Senate and Congress, and the male dominated federal courts, to get back into the business of regulating abortion? So much for "trust the women". If the next Congress codifies Roe, the Congress after that could uncodify it. And codify a national right to life. Ping. Pong. Ping. Is that really what "women" want?

*Potential life is not a person. I’m a science educated nurse and medically illiterate prolifers will not control my access to healthcare and my reproductive rights as a woman. Prolifers kill women for fetuses. You better expect women to show up to vote in Roevember 2024.

So that someday when Republicans have the majority power in the legislature they can more easily uncodify it?

And it doesn’t even make sense. ACA was codified in 2010 and the most republicans have managed to uncodify it was getting rid of the tax penalty in 2017. It’s almost like codification works.

so what you're saying is that generations of americans have enjoyed social security benefits because republicans have thus far been unable to uncodify the law that created the SSA. seems like a century of social security made codification a worthwhile endeavor.
Replying to @ClistonBrown
“Oh no, the Democrats passed a law! We can never change it now!” Said no Republican ever. Hell, they’ve been fighting piece by piece to destroy the law that created Social Security for 88 YEARS.
