ah yes, the ol’ “fiat buys rockets and armies” argument,
@djs157605… as if the ability to fund space programs and airstrikes somehow makes unlimited money printing a virtue instead of a well-dressed disaster. sure, the government can buy the best military in the world… but they can’t print trust, nor can they inflate their way out of basic math forever.
and yes, they could outlaw crypto. they could also outlaw memes, bad takes, and pineapple on pizza… doesn’t mean it’s enforceable, popular, or sustainable. crypto doesn’t disappear because a law says “no”…ask anyone still trading peer-to-peer in countries that already tried the ban hammer. spoiler: the blockchain doesn’t care.
crypto isn’t about taking away the government’s toys…it’s about forcing transparency. it doesn’t stop war, but it sure makes backroom bailouts and inflation taxes harder to hide. balanced budgets? debt with meaning? that’s not a threat to power… that’s an audit trail they can’t shred.
fiat funds control. crypto demands accountability. choose your fighter.
