🇭🇺🤝🇮🇱The largest-ever business forum between Hungary and Israel took place in Budapest, with Hungarian FM Péter Szijjártó delivering the message: Jews are safe in Hungary — to live, pray, and do business.
“So I would like to encourage members of the Israeli business community to explore opportunities for cooperation at today’s more than 150 bilateral business-to-business meetings, and you can be sure that you will always be safe here, both you personally and your businesses and your business activities,” he told those gathered.
A total of 62 Hungarian and 36 Israeli companies met to pursue opportunities and solidify bilateral cooperation.
Flagship projects involving Hungarian companies include Continest Technologies participating in Israeli army tenders, 4iG moving forward in the defense and space industries, and 97% of Israel’s poultry imports being provided by Palmi-Top.
Israeli FM Gideon Sa’ar also attended the event, praising Hungary for its “moral” foreign policy.
“We are eager to even further strengthen the close economic and people-to-people relations between our nations,” he stated.
