🚨 Serious Safety Violation at 76 Galveston St SW🚨 Residents of the Garden Apartments deserve safe and secure housing. Currently, there is no front door to the building at 76 Galveston St SW, leaving tenants vulnerable to trespassing, theft, and other dangers. I have officially reported this violation to the Department of Buildings (DOB) and requested immediate corrective action. In addition, I have contacted the Directors of both the Office of the Tenant Advocate (OTA) and the Department of Buildings (DOB) to ensure this matter is resolved as quickly as possible. ✅ Action Steps Taken: • Reported the issue directly to DOB • Notified the Directors of DOB and OTA for urgent follow-up • Requested immediate repairs and a safety inspection This situation is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately. No resident should live in a building without basic safety protections.
