🛸Hello, Traders! We’re happy to share a new round of Developer Feedback with you. ✨ Here’s a quick look at some of the topics and the dev team’s thoughts on them. 🚀
1.🙋In Guild Showdown, if there is a large strength gap between the two guilds, the weaker guild often chooses not to participate, especially on PvP days. When the outcome is essentially decided, the opposing guild typically stops participating altogether. Could the matchmaking system be optimized in the future to avoid such lopsided matchups?
🧑💻 We completely understand how frustrating these one-sided matchups can feel. No one enjoys going into a fight that’s already decided before it begins. Our team is already working on an improved matchmaking system that introduces clearer tiers, so guilds are paired more fairly. That said, this isn’t something we can flip on overnight, it requires careful balancing and testing. Our goal is to have this ready after the global launch. In the meantime, we’ll keep a close eye on Guild Showdown feedback and do our best to make sure the experience feels more competitive and rewarding.
2.🙋We would like to know in advance when new servers will open so we can join on the very first day. We feel that even joining a day late can be a big disadvantage. Could the opening times for new servers be announced ahead of time?
🧑💻 We know how important it is to start on equal footing with everyone else. Up until now, new servers have been opening on an irregular schedule, which is why we hadn’t given advance notice. Starting from now, once a new server’s opening date is locked in, we’ll announce it in the community a few days in advance so everyone has time to get ready. You may have already noticed that our CM team already shared the opening time of Server 22 earlier this week, and we’ll keep doing the same moving forward.
3.🙋We hope the credit cost in Glory Arena can be reduced. Playing all 15 matches each day costs too many credits.
🧑💻 We hear you. Credits are valuable, and we don’t want anyone to feel forced into spending too much just to keep up. That’s why every player already gets 3 free entries each day. The extra matches are there mainly for those who really enjoy the mode and want to push further, but it’s not our expectation that everyone should play all 15 every single day. Moving forward, we’ll keep monitoring how players are using credits and how the system feels overall. If we see that the costs are creating too much pressure, we’ll look into adjustments in the future.
4.🙋In the Arena, sometimes players with higher power often lose to those with lower power, and this happens repeatedly over several challenges. Players want to know if the development team will adjust these metrics so that power more accurately reflects player strength.
🧑💻 We’ve noticed this too thanks to you feedback. We understand how confusing and frustrating that feels. Power isn’t the only factor in battle results, but we agree it should more clearly reflect overall strength. We will improve this in future updates. For example, we’ll be adding details like remaining HP to battle reports, so it’s easier to see why a fight turned out the way it did. Over time, we’ll also keep fine-tuning the balance so that battles feel fairer and power serves as a more accurate measure of strength.
5.🙋The chat is being flooded with numerous Arena-related messages, which disrupts the normal communication experience.
🧑💻In the August 7 update, we made some improvements to help with this. We know it might not solve everything yet with the notification system, so please keep sharing your experience with us, we’re listening and will continue to make adjustments.
6.🙋The Port Battle takes too long. Are there any plans to reduce its duration?
🧑💻We’ve received a lot of feedback about Port Battles feeling too long. Our team is re-evaluating the current timing and will closely monitor the gameplay experience. Adjustments are planned for September, and we’ll share updates with you as soon as changes are made.
7.🙋There is still significant lag and graphic display errors affecting servers, especially those with higher and more active populations. Are there plans to improve game performance?
🧑💻 Thank you all for your ongoing feedback, the screenshots shared from Server 1020 have been really helpful for us to understand the performance issues on high-population servers. We take this very seriously, and reducing lag while improving overall game performance has always been a top priority for us. The team is actively working on optimizations, and we’ll soon be rolling out improvements specifically for large-scale battles in Level 9 star systems. We really appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to make the game smoother for everyone.
8.🙋 Server merges have always been a topic of great interest, especially for servers with declining activity. When exactly will it happen? Could the development team share any updates regarding merges? How will merge mechanics work?
🧑💻We know server merges are something many of you care deeply about, especially on servers where activity has started to decline. The merge plan is already in the works, and it’s expected to take place after the global launch and at the start of Season 2. When the time gets closer, we’ll share the full details through official channels so everyone has enough time to prepare. Thank you for your patience and support, we’re committed to making the merge process as smooth as possible and to ensuring a better experience for all players.
9.🙋When will the in-game calendar be released?
🧑💻The in-game calendar feature is still in development, but it will be coming in the future. We understand how important it is for everyone to plan ahead, so in the meantime, we’ll be sharing activity calendar posts in the community to help you prepare in advance. Thank you so much for your patience and support, we’re working hard to bring the in-game calendar to you as soon as possible.
10.🙋Research has become much more intensive as a mechanic since the introduction of Guild Mobilization research. Would the dev team consider adding a 2nd Research Queue to help players maximize their play time?
🧑💻We know how important a 2nd Research Queue would be for many of you, especially with the introduction of Guild Mobilization research. The good news is that this feature is already in active development, and the team is working hard to bring it to you as quickly as possible. Our goal is to release the 2nd Research Queue with the September 3 update. Thank you for your patience and support!
11.🙋Can we add a skip button for Ruin Raiders battles? They’re taking too long.
🧑💻We completely understand how this can become tiring when you just want to focus on progressing. That’s why in the August 27 update we introduced a Skip button for “Plunder” battles, so you can now save time and keep the game moving at your own pace. We’ll also be keeping an eye on other battle types to see where similar improvements might make sense.
12.🙋Can the development team share some future contents with the players?
🧑💻We’d love to share a bit about what’s coming next! The new Guild-based GvE event Arms Race is currently in pioneer testing on Servers 1001 and 1002, and if everything goes smoothly, we’ll roll it out to more servers soon. In this event, Commerce Guild admins can set the difficulty and launch the challenge, which causes Drill Cruisers to spawn near the Guild Hub. Defeating them unlocks higher difficulty levels. Battles take place on the world map but are limited to merchants’ fleets (red vs. blue merchants), with system-set spawn points near merchant bases. Each match lasts up to 30 minutes, the event repeats once per week, and every task allows only one attempt. If it fails, you’ll need to wait for the next refresh. We’re excited to see how you enjoy this new challenge!
We’ve also heard your feedback about Sundays feeling a bit empty compared to other days. To make weekends more engaging, we’re planning to launch a new event around September 17 (estimated, subject to change), which will run on Sundays. We hope this adds more fun to your weekly schedule.
As for Champions, a brand-new Champion will be released at the end of September, and as we mentioned in previous Devs feedback, Ajita will officially become available with the start of Season 2 after Global launch. More Champions are also in the design phase. For champion fragments, Evan’s will remain available only through event draws, while we’re considering adding Lily’s fragments into the same draws as Evan’s in the future.
We’re excited for all these upcoming additions, and as always, please keep an eye on our Discord Announcement Channel for the latest news on new content and events.
