2️⃣ Fósseis do engine, e o que eles revelam: No topo do log, em vermelho: INPUT_HORSE_EXIT has been DISABLED by UNKNOWN. Input de descer do cavalo. Desabilitado.

If you are using affine 4 bit quants vs. something like q4_K_M, then yes. The affine quants are equivalent to q4_1 and default to a groupsize of 64 which is a lower bit rate than the K quant. This is why we've been using nvfp4 for Ollama which has a smaller groupsize (of 16)

FYI 150k rubric judgements is just 5000 sample RL training run at groupsize 32. This is like, literally nothing. Fear mongering. DeepSeek gets such a bad rap because Anthropic and our labs are complete shitbags

for groupsize = 64 / 32 / 16, GRPO also crashes in this multi-turn code integrated reasoning task.

Or for scalar rewards is the amount of bits limited to the griupsize, since you can only end up with (groupsize) set of score values?

Can you explain where the request form of n=16 for a groupsize of 16 going to vllm and sglang endpoints would go then? In atropos the job is to make requests, receive text, verify rollouts, tokenize them to send to the trainer with their advantages. There's an API component and an Environment component, the API component aggregates the tokens and advantages to send to the trainer when a batch is consolidated. We already have 3 repos internally - a trainer, atropos, and a modified sglang - not sure where this 4th abstraction should be if it will just re-encompass the environment anyways

no, can be just literally shortest ones. Say rather than sampling a groupsize of 8, you sample 32 and keep 8 shortest. (We also run while keeping the best in terms of accuracy/length, and that also works very well)

and then the groupsize exceeded 500 people, and we needed something called "money" for economic communication. It's as simple as that.

Hmm I think @max_paperclips did this technique in one of their environments already, maybe the internal tool calling one. We also have an "SFT Environment" that is just a groupsize 1 env that mixes SFT data into the RL batch which seems to be very promising

you can btw totally set up GRPO with groupsize 2N, and for each of the N full generations try closing </thought> at say X% of the CoT and verify the final answer; that would totally promote this behavior at inference time

Don't forget to set your groupsize to the number of available lanes (32 on Nvidia, 64 on AMD) otherwise you'r underutilizing the gpu.

the terminology confused me so much i stg. I feel like numthreads(x,y,z) should be called groupsize(x,y,z) or something. also SV_GroupID != SV_GroupIndex is uh, a choice and,, why are coordinate-like things called IDs in the first place help ;-;

today's #leetcode question got me thinking hard, not a difficult question per say but the challenging part was to convay the thought process into code. Time -> O(nlogn n*groupsize) Space -> O(n) let me know if there is a better approach than hashing!
