は、2000年代にLinuxConやPyConなどでステッカーが配られ始めて、「コミュニティ参加の証」としてPCに貼る文化が広まったらしい。

「ﾁｮｯﾄﾃﾞｷﾙ」、日本でLinuxconやって、初めて直接Linusに会ったときに、Linusとかコアのカーネルのメンテナが着てた服の台詞なので、そのレベル以外で使うのは恐れ多い

RHELに関して言えば、特に日本のOEMさんたち（NFH）が分担してLinuxの信頼性向上に寄与した面がすごく大きい。もちろん、HP / Dell / IBMもなんだけど。
メモリ管理、ファイルシステム、ダンプ等々、広い範囲ですごい量の貢献があったので、足を向けて寝られないですよ。

.@itoh_bmark さんが LinuxCon の会場で WiFi の確認の際、会場側と
「参加者数はどれぐらいです？」
「500ぐらい」
「こちらの WiFi は 500 人ぐらいは大丈夫ですよ」
「500人だけど 500 じゃ済まないの！ここに来る奴らは2台も3台の繋ぐの！」
と話して現場を確認した話で笑ったのを思い出した。
会場無線のパケキャプ見てるとMACbookのmdnsがwifi端末まで届いててそれが気になった もしかしてmdns大量に流すと不安定になるとか有り得そう。今回は/19位のサイズのL2に数千端末なので割と無視できないきがする
