To measure means to divide and vice-versa. It does not mean "sharing" or "distributing" because that will only work for whole numbers, and it hides the meaning of division and multiplication which is a reciprocal division.
Why do you reject the truths I reveal to you?
Victor! Congratulations on being in the Top 10% for Maths in the UK! A GOLD medal winner! The year group and school are extremely proud! @UKMathsTrust@MathsMastery@BrentwoodRC
How do you build consistency in maths teaching across multiple schools?
For Three Saints Academy Trust, it started with a shared vision, and a deep dive into our @MathsMastery primary programme.
From schools at very different starting points, they’ve now developed:
✅ Stronger subject leadership across the Trust
✅ Highly empowered teachers
✅ Enhanced pupil experience
With the support of their AC subject expert, collaboration is driving alignment – and impact – across all five schools.

@MathsMastery When well-formed concepts are used in mathematics, there is no (normal) human who cannot master mathematics in its entirety.

Unfortunately, mainstream mathematics academia is a cult and their curricula consist of more than 50% that is non-mathematics. They stubbornly resist correction because their careers depend on saving their drivel - future generations be damned.
Class 2F wanted to explore how many ways they could group the number 14. They are in the early stages of division and are already showing a strong knowledge of the inverse relationships! @a_wills87@NCETM@MathsMastery
What does effective maths improvement look like in practice?
Our action research with @NWmathshub3 reinforces a simple but powerful idea:
👉 Impact comes from alignment.
Mathematics Mastery Primary and the NW3 Maths Hub Mastery Readiness work group have shared principles. Doing both together meant schools got even more:
➡️ Curriculum and teaching resources
➡️ Specialist support
➡️ Coordinated CPD
➡️ Peer-to-peer encouragement
This wasn’t about adding work. It was about accelerating the journey to teaching for mastery, and all the benefits that brings, together.
