Interesting development, Alberto! Establishing a causal link between autoimmunity and Tau pathology could open new therapeutic avenues in neurodegenerative diseases. It's intriguing to think how this connection could inform treatments not only for anti-IgLON5 disease but also for related conditions, like Alzheimer's. How might these findings affect current therapeutic strategies? While Japan is exceptionally strong in hardware, it remains very weak on the software side; this is precisely why I advocate for attracting the world’s brightest minds, including the most talented Japanese. Mega-corporations like Toyota, SoftBank, and Mitsubishi have the scale to recruit the smartest people from across the globe to lead in AI, robotics, biotechnology, and advanced manufacturing. Global firms would eagerly establish their R&D centers here, and entrepreneurs would choose Japan as a hub for startups and international talent. Japan has all the necessary infrastructure in place; it simply lacks the strategic will to make it a reality. #Japan #Hardware #Software #ResearchDevelopment #Startup
