Y si hay que diseñarlas porque para las que hago yo, no hay kits comerciales y tenemos que diseñar desde los primers hasta los tiempos de cada fase del ciclo El gran problema como te digo es que no sabéis (ni queréis saber) que la rtPCR se usa para cuantificar la expresión de un gen (cualquiera que esté presente en una muestra) y su uso se limita al diagnóstico de covid. En realidad la aplicación diagnóstica deriva del uso original de la PCR que acabo de explicar. Lo que se hace es amplificar genes de agente infeccioso. Si está en la muestra del paciente amplificará. Para eso se hacen ciclos de amplificación y se establece un umbral (Ct) a partir del cual debe detectarse si es positivo.
